I train at EastboundGym in Amsterdam and come often to UK for business. On holiday I visited a few Muay thai gyms and thought why not try when I'm here on a business trip. So went with a colleague (on a 30 degree celcius day) and it was great, good level of recreational kickboxers but especially a great level of respect amongst each other. Kids and grownups together. The owner and his trainers all know eachother for years. It's definitely kind of underground and oldschool, but that makes it quite nice.

Had an interclub here, the trainers were great the sparring wasn't. Ref and coaches kept telling my match to slow down but he wouldn't listen, was trying to throw bombs for 3 minutes straight not great for my first inter but can't blame the gym the guy was a nob should of been matched with someone that could put him to sleep then he might learn some humility.

Just finished the (beginners) kickboxing class, coach didnt give any guidance and just expected us to know what we were doing. Got more guidance from the people attending the class than the coach.
