Dark Arts is an incredible training facility! My son has been training here, and the experience has been top-notch. The instructors are knowledgeable and do a fantastic job of keeping the classes engaging while instilling discipline and technique. Started training here with my wife and Two oldest kids a few months ago. We all love the community and atmosphere at the school. Our boys 9 and 6 love the kids Muay Thai and jujitsu classes. my wife and I both participate in the variety of adult classes offered. All of the professors and higher belt coaches are great both for the kids and us adults. Thank you Juan, Brandon and all the coaches that make Dark Arts so great.

Dark Arts provides a friendly and respectful atmosphere to its clients. My 5 year old has been attending Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai classes for about 3 months and his progress is remarkable. Coaches Juan, Marissa, Lou, and Olivia are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled practitioners. The value of the service far outweighs the price and time commitment.

Juan and Marissa run a great classes for children. Very welcoming and attentive to the kids needs. They teach them martial arts and more importantly about life skills. Their classes are disciplined and informative for the kids. The facilities are also very clean. Couldn’t say enough good things about this gym.

Juan is one of the greatest men I’ve ever met. About 16 years ago, he trained us above a barbershop when we were just kids, never charging much because he believed in us and was so passionate about mixed martial arts. He taught us discipline, hard work, and the art of jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, and wrestling, with incredible technique. An amazing coach and an even better person—grateful for everything he instilled in me when I was a youngster and highly recommend Dark Arts 💪❤️ Garrett Bacher

Was visiting Webster from the UK and looking for a place to train BJJ. This is a fantastic facility - modern and clean. Juan and the team at Dark Arts were welcoming from the moment I reached out to enquire about dropping in. They went out of their way to greet me on arrival and made me feel welcome from the off. Super friendly environment, great instructors and a brilliant atmosphere all round. This is where you go for serious trainin' with the perfect blend of fun. Juan is extremely knowledgeable in all forms taught at Dark Arts and teams up with the best of the best coaches to instruct along side him. This school is drama free, builds you up, cares about your over all health and injury prevention and most of all teachin' you so that you feel confident when you leave that you can apply it where needed in your life whether competition or personal safety or defense or simply because you enjoy the workout! Become part of the brotherhood! You won't find a better school in the area.

Was visiting from Long Island dropped in for an open mat everyone was super friendly, had some great rounds dojo was very clean had showers… if you are in the area I would definitely recommend stopping in! 👍

Great gym with an awesome, supportive culture. Jiu jitsu instruction is top notch. I have been training for years and have trained at gyms all over the country. The kids program is exceptional and the adult program is hands above the competition. No matter whether you have been training for 10+ years or this is your first day on the mat, you will appreciate what Dark Arts has to offer. This martial arts school is all about family. It’s a great environment for learning and having fun as a group. The school provides a wide variety of classes and times across several martial arts disciplines for kids and adults. Adult classes are welcoming to beginners and technical enough for advanced practitioners. The coaches are great with kids. My son wants to be here for every class and I love watching so I can learn, too!

Brand new, very clean facility. Staff here are great and are there to teach the newest and most experienced and everyone in-between. Very happy with the several times I have been here and I will be definitely joining to make training a regular part of my health and fitness!

Where do I begin? As a stay at home mom, I was craving community, autonomy, and an outlet to mentally take a break from my 24/7 job. What started as a self defense class for women turned into a passion that has changed my life for the better. You won’t find better coaches, friends, or training partners anywhere else. My kids have joined in on the fun (the FOMO hit hard) and are progressing so well. If you want to try something new, even if you have no athletic background like me, you should take that leap of faith and check out Dark Arts. They will welcome you with open arms and introduce you to a new version of yourself. In summary, this is a fantastic gym with great people in it. Good ventilation, clean showers, high ceilings, and happy/sweaty faces will greet you every time.

Loved training here ever since day 1. The atmosphere is amazing and the coaches and professors are even better. Never had a bad time walking through the doors at Dark Arts and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in Martial Arts. I’ve been training under Professor Hernandez, Colon, and Taccone for years and have never had a better time learning Jiu-Jitsu.

I’ve known and trained under Juan for almost 10 years! He truly cares about his craft, and it shows in his teachings. What I appreciate most is how relatable he is, and his level of transparency. He creates a welcoming environment for all to learn and grow! All of the other coaches- Marissa, Brandon, Paul, among others, also reflect the same values and make this gym an excellent opportunity for everyone to reach their best potential: from white to black belt. I started training about 10 months ago in Professor Juan's all women's class. When he opened this school I was extremely excited! The support and encouragement is incredible. Because of the support of coaches and other students I now train in the co-ed classes as well and am building my confidence. The school also has offered Women's self defense classes and prioritized making sure women feel safe and welcome. I can't begin to explain how amazing it feels to grow here.

I 100000 percent recommend Coming here! I have felt soo supported and encouraged since day 1. I love coming here and miss it when I am not able to attend classes. Juan does an amazing job making sure you understand not only the culture but the foundational skills and how to do them properly so that you do not get injured! Every member I have come across is soo friendly and encouraging and making everyone who walks through those doors feel encouraged. I am soo grateful that I have joined Dark Arts , and if you are looking for a sign to start something new and want to try something things your sign to do it because you will be supported every step of the way. I have been training jiu jitsu for over 10 yrs. Taking breaks on and off due to life events, decided to resume my jiu jitsu journey and life style together with my kids at the new Academy Dark Arts with Professor Juan, and I could not be happier to be part of this team/family. The welcoming environment is felt from the moment you step foot in the door.
