I started coming here for Muay Thai in December and I absolutely love it! Everyone is so friendly and the whole place is super clean. I came in with absolutely no experience and I have learned so much from just a few classes. Coach Janelle has been so helpful and the workouts he gives us have helped me get into the best shape of my life. I would absolutely recommend training here.

It is an amazing place to build confidence and sureness in your martial art abilities. The professors are high level competitors who strive to have any who are interested in their wisdom. They meticulously teach adults as well as children in their technical development. Why be bored going to a basic gym when you have a variety of martial arts/ self defense training. My 5 year old has been taking Jiu Jitsu for about a month now and really loves it. She loves coming home and showing us her new moves. The owners and staff are excellent and work very well with the kids and have even taken a little extra time at the end of a class to go over extra moves.

The coaches are great, the facility is excellent, and most importantly many of the kids who train there are really good with one another. We love it here. We've been members at the Monroe location since they opened (1+ year) and my 9 year old still loves coming. The instructors are patient but firm and work on keeping the kids focused - but also make it really fun. There is a lot of hands on attention in teaching them the skills needed to do well. You don't have to commit to a specific day/time for training, so the flexibility in coming on the days/times that work best for us is crucial as we work around conflicting schedules.

My 5y/o son started Jui Jitsu classes last year. He was nervous at first but the coaches were very receptive and kept him engaged for the first couple weeks. Once he got comfortable, he was all in and now begs me to bring him to class. Every coach has great experience and all work well with the kids. The discipline, technique and fun that the kids learn and have is unmatched. For young kids, this program is better than any sport opportunity that I have seen for young age groups, and watching the older kids, teens and adult classes, it only gets better and better.

We have been coming to Cruvinel Brothers for Jiu Jitsu classes and the experience has been phenomenal. We visited other BJJ gyms in the area and stuck with Cruvinel for a few reasons. The instructors are fantastic, the staff couldn’t be friendlier, and you are immediately welcomed into a community, even as a spectator. The facility is clean and bright and the classes are focused and intentional. If you’re in the area and are looking to try one of the classes that they offer, definitely give Cruvinel a try.

My 7 year old loves BJJ at Cruvinel. He attends the Monroe location. Everyone is so friendly from the front desk staff to the coaches. There are levels based on age and the coaches work with each student, many times even 1:1, until they have mastered the skills. It is definitely equal parts fun and learning. The respect expected from each student is also Demonstrated by all coaches. I love to support a family run business and this one makes everyone feel like family. They even celebrate all the kids birthdays each month with a party day. I would recommend Cruvinel for any age who is interested in jiu jitsu as well As the other programs they offer.

Brand new facility, competitive price and great for all ranks. I started training BJJ here in the beginning of January with almost no martial arts experience. Before signing up, I visited and was immediately impressed by the size and state-of-the-art feel. I was welcomed by not only Coach Thiago, but the entire class. I observed the routine and wasted no time before signing up. Once on the mats, it’s clear BJJ here is as much as a community sport as competitive- Coaches and higher ranks took time to ensure I am learning basic technique. The advanced technique you see makes you work harder for your own progress. And thankfully, the schedule is impressively accommodating to ensure you can progress faster than other gyms. Nice place with potential if your kid knows what they doing and can be on their own. The class count is huge compared to other facilities we’ve been to. Which makes it difficult to get more mat time. Another thing that they need to understand is that classes at 4:30 for younger crowd is not feasible. So they need to work on different times. Unless you get there 30 minutes before the class starts, you will almost never find a parking spot or be able to find a suitable spot to sit and attend the class. You have a great facility and great staff. Get more people and extend the schedule a bit. Cap the classes.
