  We love CJJF! Professor Jon and every single Coach truly care about teaching my son great ethic, discipline and motivation to learn self defense. We started when the McKinney location opened and the attention to detail with not only the studio, but also each technique the students do is meticulous. Additionally, the passion fire the community around them is evident. We highly recommend CJJF.

  Joining CJJF is easily one of the best decisions I’ve made. I had never done any mixed martial arts before joining but I needed to find something to help me get back in shape after stacking on some pounds in recent years. Almost immediately, I knew I had found a special place. Despite having no idea what I was doing, the coaches and fellow students welcomed me with open arms and within 6 weeks I had lost over 20 pounds. Now I can’t get enough of it. I’ve tried a lot of gyms in my life but this community is special, the CJJF network has multiple gyms and they’re all great people with vast levels of bjj and mixed martial arts experience. Also, they do team social events so it’s more than just a gym. I’d recommend this place to anyone of any age or skill level. Easy 5 stars

  I went to try out a class at the McKinney location and was very impressed! Coaches were very welcoming and made me feel at home. If you are looking for a solid gym to train Muay Thai I would definitely give CJJF a look!

  After scouring McKinney, Prosper, and Frisco for a jiujitsu family to join, we found CJJF as they were building the McKinney location. They offered a free class and when we attended, every adult we encountered was so welcoming and warm. They looked my son in the eye, shook his hand, and made sure he was comfortable and understood what was happening during the class. I've seen this repeated over and over again as new kids come in. Coach Jasmine is a certified bad-a and yet, she has immense patience and works with each kid and their level of understanding. My son looks forward to every class and I've seen his confidence and self-control grow. Professor Jon is amazing and I'm really thankful we happened to find the best at CJJF!

  Joined CJJF McKinney on Opening Day and couldn’t be any happier. My 4yo daughter looks forward to it every single day and Professor Jon is a huge part of that. If you’re looking for an academy for an adult or child that teaches the Sport & Self Defense without placing an unnecessary emphasis on competitions, this is the perfect academy for you.
