    I have attended the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes led by Stuart for some time now. My son (5 years old) also attends the children’s course. The attending treat you as family and it’s a great environment to be in. The child courses are perfect and the instructors are so patient with the children.The skills you will learn and develop will last you a lifetime.

    Highly recommended not only for young and agile people, but also for late starters over 40 with some movement deficits. No ego-driven braggarts, just a great, humorous group that makes getting started and training together (!) much easier. Stuart Pooler is a very good trainer who imparts his extensive knowledge in a very understandable and practical way. Highly recommended and worth the longer journey. Plenty of parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the training hall.

    Good and real BJJ schools are few and far between, one of them is Checkmat Franconia in Schwabach! From young to old, the team is led by a head trainer with almost 20 years of experience and his assistant trainers with Gi and No Gi. Very familiar and competent. I started again at 46ig -> I can only recommend it!
