Tim is incredibly knowledgeable and makes the process of owning a firearm feel comfortable and approachable. His classes go beyond the basics, equipping you with the skills and understanding of what it truly means to be a responsible firearm owner. He covers everything from safety protocols to situational awareness, ensuring you feel confident and prepared. Tim’s approach is professional, yet he creates a welcoming atmosphere where questions are encouraged. I highly recommend his course for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and gain practical skills in firearm ownership and self-defense.
Awesome class, military friendly! Learned everything I needed, answered everything we asked. Great instructor and a clean facility. 10/10 would recommend.
Did the basic course and CCW. Highly recommend!
I took Tim’s CCW class in December 2023 as an initial due to my fault not renewing within time standards. He taught a fun and responsible class with sharing a lot of his knowledge of firearms and safety. If you’re interested in obtaining your CCW and/or renewing your permit, you won’t be disappointed!
Tim Chapman is a great instructor he was knowledgeable and made learning about firearms safe and easy to understand.
Tim Chapman is awesome! Firearms safety is everyone's responsibility. Tim is super patient, encourages input, and feedback during his safety classes no matter how knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed by his personable approach. I highly recommend Tim Chapman when you want firearms safety training the right way.
I took Chapman Tactical Defense CCW class with Mr. Chapman. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, providing me with ways to improve technique/accuracy and very accommodating to fit my schedule. I totally recommend this class for anyone considering on getting their concealed firearm permit.

Very good course. Very knowledgeable and a great instructor for self defense.
Tim Chapman is an extremely educated and experienced instructor, from both his extensive military training and service (thank you for your service!) and NRA-specific experiences. He is passionate about teaching self-defense in a wide variety of disciplines, including pistol, rifle, and jiu jitsu. He is compassionate and patient, and dedicated to ensuring his students understand and are comfortable with the material taught. It was a privilege to learn from and spend time with him, and I look forward to doing it again soon! I took his NRA Basic Pistol class and will take his NRA Range Safety Officer class next!
My wife and I took a class with Chapman Tactical Defense a few months ago.Tim, our instructor was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, providing me exactly what I needed in order to improve technique and accuracy. I have been shooting my entire life with decent results but the more I followed his advice, the more accurate my shots were. A+ for professionalism and you can tell he's very passionate about the subjects he covered!
I took the defense pistol class. The instructor is top notch, very well spoken and very Knowledgeable. I would take this class again. I plan on taking more classes. Thank you for everything you taught me mr chapman.
I took the Basic Pistol class this past Saturday. I had no clue about guns, shooting, and safety. Tim was such a great instructor. He was very patient, encouraging and knowledgeable. I appreciated his caring demeanor to help me feel at ease in handling the gun. He was open for questions and so helpful . I felt comfortable and learned so much. I will continue my education about guns with Chapman Tactical Defense for sure. Thank you Tim.
