Champions Fight academy by far the best fight academy out there! Gym atmosphere feels like family and all the coaches come from authentic backrounds, muay thai, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling. If anyone is floating around and looking 4 a gym out there, pick the champs!

All the coaches for Muay Thai have helped me learn so much in the past 2 years that Iv been doing Muay Thai at champions.I feel like it wouldn’t be so possible to achieve so much in such a short time span without all the coaches. Great environment with positivity and being pushed to do better and always try your best in everything.

This gym is just what my kids needed been here for a year and they love it coach javi and gabriel are awsome with the kids everyone there is respectfull just signed all 3 of my kids up for the next 2yrs Come down and join the champion bjj family!!!

I’ve been with champions since day one (2015) , it’s one of the most friendly and positive environments i’ve ever trained at, and i’ve been training since 2008, lots of Bjj World Champions have coached here and honestly i consider my self lucky to pick up lots of techniques from them , literally Top blackbelts in the world, my sons have just started there bjj journey here as well and i’m not gonna lie it’s been challenging for them , kids here are killers , but like the saying goes iron sharpens iron, and i’ve definitely seen an improvement in there skills and confidence

I can not say anything bad about champions fitness instead I can only say great things. They have super great coaches that actually teach the kids and stay on top of them. I love the changes my son has made and we have been coming for a year now. He is in Brazilian jiu jitsu, Muay Thai and boxing and I absolutely love it. I Can not wait to enroll my daughter soon. I also like how organized they are and they keep it clean as well.

Been training for a couple of months now it’s a great environment all the coaches push you to be your best and it feels like family. when I get out of work I look forward to getting to practice aside from knowing I’m going to get put through the ringer and pushed past my limits I look forward to seeing everyone

I’ve been taking my son for Muay Thai, boxing and jiujitsu for about 1 year.He loves the environment and feels challenged in every class. All of the staff and parents are very welcoming.

Being a woman in a male-dominated sport like BJJ brings its own set of challenges, but having the right team and community can make anyone feel comfortable and confident! The instructors are all so welcoming and very knowledgeable.. Don’t be intimidated to give it a try you’re in great hands at Champions.

My son really likes it here, coaches and staff are friendly and make you feel like family. Other parents are also very friendly, it’s always a good time there. Place is always clean, they make fun activities with the kids and it’s easy to reach them by phone or social media.

This gym is very professional, the coaches and professors are very technical the atmosphere here is amazing everyone feel like family, its definitely a life changing experience i never knew i would fall in love with the Martial arts like i did will definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to learn self defense or wanting to learn something new

One of the best decisions I have made as a parent for my children. not only do I have one, but I have three here and a future little one Awaits. The perfect place for confidence, self-defense, and discipline. A place to change your life. The coaches, Javier, and Manuel are the best, great role models and they treat you like family. I’ve been attending this gym for few months now and let me say been one of my best decisions, joining Brazilian Jiu jitsu has changed my life, from being out in the street looking for trouble to the mat, coach Javi and coach manny are one of the best instructors. They have Inspired me to do better and be better. Highly recommend.

Coach Javi and Gabriel are very professional and break down the entire program and provided me with different options for both my sons. Gym is well maintained and overall a great place for kids (and adults) who are looking to learn MMA. Would highly recommend if you are in the West Covina area.

It’s been a great experience at this gym. On the first day the coaches are really nice and teach you everything you need to know. Would really recommend for beginners and if you want to get in shape this is the place to go.

Love this gym so much. Have been going here for a 5 months and I love this gym. This gym is my 2nd family. All the coaches love and care for all their students. I do all three (boxing.jitsu,Muay Thai) and I couldn’t love it anymore then I already do. If you are considering coming here, please do.

This is one of the best gyms I've ever been too. On the first day all the coaches make you feel welcomed, they dedicate time to show you proper technique. If you want to get in shape you'll get a great work out here. If you want to learn how to fight & defend yourself the coaches have a lot of knowledge & experience. They have different payment plans so you have options that fit your budget.

I've been going for three weeks now and it's been a really good experience so far. Everyone in the gym is friendly and welcoming. Coach Raul and coach Anthony are both very down to earth. They both take their time to help you understand every technique they know.

Great gym. They have what you need to be a good fighter, or if you just want to be healthier. They have an amazing bjj installment, great boxers, and an amazing Muay Thai team. They have some free weights and heavy bags for solo work, and open mat times. Glad I chose this gym. If your interested in fighting, this gym can help you for sure.

The staff is real nice and professional. My kids really enjoy going there. Since being at this gym they have learned discipline and patience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for curricular activities for their kids. GREAT PLACE!!

Awesome academy with awesome coaches. If your looking for a place where you could train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, women's only boot camp, and MMA then you've found your home here. Great kids program with bullyproof programs. Great way to lose weight and gain confidence. Great place for all the family and friends.

This is a good gym, with a good culture. I've felt welcome since the first day I joined. This ain't no Mc' Dojo guys, the instructors are good and we have some serious fighters here who compete regularly. Join and come roll.

My kids love it here. Checkmat under lucas Leite and marcel mafra. Muay Thai and boxing instructors are legit. Very welcoming atmosphere with tough training.

I have been at Champions West Covina for about a year now and I am so grateful to be training with an amazing group of people. I absolutely love the women’s class and Coach Jackie has really helped me get into better shape. I do Advanced BJJ on Mondays and Wednesday and Women’s BJJ on Fridays. Great experience overall!

Great place. I've taken my nephews to practice and I couldn't be more pleased. The coaches are well engaged and so are my nephews. Every time they see me they talk about how much they love it and talk about how much they learn. They have plenty of time to roll as well as get attention from the coaches during drilling. They even compete against other kids and that is my favorite part to see.

I came from North Carolina I didnt know anyone or had any friends besides my co workers but there really not my friends just co workers, anyways I'm truly grateful I joined this class, I was motivated to learn different styles of fighting such as mui tai,Brazilian jiu jitzu and boxing. I was nervous cause I didn't know anybody but you gotta go in there with a great attitude and an urge to learn , yes I was shy and yes I was afraid to be the new guy coming in but we all go through it , the staff was really friendly because I was hungry to learn and I was asking questions and I wasnt afraid to go with the big guys . I met so many people and tbh we are all there to have fun and learn. The staff with no hesitation at all will work with you when it comes to signing up or even struggling financially or even when you got a complaint . Just be honest and don't take them for granted . 🤷♂️😄

Great place to train at! The coaches share their knowledge and expertise with humility and understanding. With 1 membership you have the opportunity to explore multiple mixed martial arts disciplines. The teamwork and sense of community that is fostered at Champions is an essential piece of what makes Champions such an incredible place to be a part of. The atmosphere and energy level brought to each class by fellow gym participants and advanced athletes encourages you to push yourself and strive to better by the end of each class. At Champions it’s a comfortable place to come in as a beginner. I was new to Boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jui Jitsu. I came to this location as a beginner with zero experience, and started with Boxing and Muay Thai but was intrigued by what I saw during the Jiu Jitsu classes. I was hesitant to dive into Jiu Jitsu because I felt that I didn’t know enough. I began attending the all women’s Jiu Jitsu classes on Friday evenings and became comfortable enough to integrate into the co-Ed beginner classes during the week. Whether you’re just looking to get in shape or are interested in advancing your skill level, the staff at Champions acknowledge the consistency and hard work put forth by each student. The coaches will help you progress and achieve your goals based on your effort level and individual desires. Great gym to come and learn different forms of martial arts. Big gym, Amazing coaches. The children’s coach’s are great and work with the kids so well. Overall a great place for the family. The adult programs are great too. Everyone is able to learn good technique from coaches that love what they do.

Brought my son in bc i saw they offeded a 30 day free trial. At 1st i was sceptical thinking it was some sort of sales gimmick like ive experienced in the past but to my surprise it wasnt. The gentleman who helped me explained all their options and gave me the option of enrolling or taking the 30 day trial. I opted for the trial bc my son tends to lose interest farely quickly. Without hesitatiin i was awarded a 30 day free trial pass and my son was given a prety cool shirt for free. Fast foward 30 days later we are still here and just enrolled my son to officially be part of the champions family. 100% satisfied. I highly recomend this place.

I live in Pasadena and have searched for, and visited, schools in many of the surrounding cities. I reached out to Champions, and right away, I knew that I found a home. Coaches, staff, and students all make this place feel like home and family. Everyone is very knowledgeable, passionate, patient, and caring. Whether you are advanced, or a beginner with no prior experience, every person associated with this school is invested in your personal growth, and will work closely with you individually to help you reach your goals. Don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself (they offer a free trial) and I’m certain that your experience will be the same. I cannot thank Champions enough for taking me in, and having such a positive impact on my life!

Honestly everything about this place was good but except when trying to cancel your membership. I thought I canceled my membership back in December but I got charged again in April so I’ve been trying to contact them in order to see what happen but yet they never call back or answer my emails. I haven’t been able to go in person since I moved back in December. I guess I’ll have to do it in person then.

One of the owners, Gabriel, agreed to pause my membership yet continued to charge me. He has continuously promised to refund all of my money since October yet has not. He currently owes me over $450 and is just leaving my messages on read, despite my explaining how I need my money back. If I knew this would happen I would have just cancelled the membership immediately, in-person. Be careful with your money here, the coaches are good but the owners are horrible.

Made an appointment for 9am May 29th. We called earlier in the week and were told to come on Saturday at 9am. We came and the gym was closed. We called both numbers listed on the website and no one answered at one number while the other was disconnected. I emailed them as well and the email on the website is no longer valid either. Complete waste of our time.

Not sure where all these good reviews came from but they sure fooled me. My husband and I brought my 12 year old sister tonight to try their kickboxing class but the coach teaching the class never once corrected anyone or taught them any formation etc. The coach kept leaving and talking to others instead of focusing on the students. The students weren't very welcoming either. The little girl partnered with my sister kept rolling her eyes and being rude. They eventually asked for help from another student (also rude). WHY??? Where is the coach to help and correct them??? They weren't understanding of the fact that it was her first time taking a class and did not make her feel welcome. How does this place have any clientele? All the coaches were too young to have any credibility. Even the guy training jiu jitsu was only a purple belt. I'm so disappointed because she was really excited.
