This review is focused on the Muay Thai classes, I have never tried the BJJ classes- Great coaches who are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Fellow students are very nice and encouraging too. I have been a part of this gym for around a year now, and it has been life changing!
A great gym for all skill levels and aspirations. Whether you’re a casual martial arts lover or dreaming of being a professional fighter, this is a great gym. The jujitsu here has a heavy wrestling influence and if you don't know, wrestling dominates. However you will learn some real slick jujitsu as well. The muay thai is also great. Coach is knowledgeable and encouraging. Leave your ego outside and go have lots of fun.

Great teachers and a very family oriented place
10th Planet Covina is awesome! My son did Karate for the last 6 years and 10th Planet Covina had made the transition to JuJitsu and Muy Thai easy! All of the instructors are awesome. We initially came for a free trial and there was no pressure. The other kids were welcoming and helpful which is indicative of how they are trained. I highly recommend 10th Planet for your child.
Absolutely loved the discipline and attention coach Julian gave when instructing my daughter. I look forward to seeing the growth my daughter will show by the technique and discipline shown to her at 19th planet.

I’ve had many options in the Covina area to choose from but the vibe and team behind this place cannot be found anywhere else. My gym mates have become family, and the gym always feels like my second home. Where I am safe and supported through training and outside the gym. You make life long friends here, are taught by passionate people and are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face after each session. This place has helped me find my confidence, my inner warrior and has helped me shape my inner peace. If you’re unsure, please come by and take a trail class. You won’t regret it. This is a great place to learn 10th planet jiu jitsu! The coaches are amazing people, they are super patient with the students. The enviornment here at 10th planet covina encourages hard work. I definitely recommend this place to people who wanna learn the 10th planet way.

This gym has changed my life for the better. I signed up 3 years ago and have made so many friends, learned great techniques and became an athlete. 10th Planet Covina has become part of my everyday routine and I don't know where I would be without it. The managers are extremely helpful and competent. The entire staff makes you feel like one big family.

10th Planet Covina is the best martial arts gym in the area. The professors are all very knowledgeable and experienced. My jiu jitsu has improved immensely in the time I’ve been training under coach Kuwy.
10th Planet Covina is the best martial arts gym in the area. The atmosphere is always very welcoming, the gym itself if kept clean and ran by great managers. The coaching is top notch, the way coach Kuwy breaks his classes down for every experience level allows everyone learn at their own skill level allowing them to develop faster. I would highly recommend signing up for a trial class to anybody at any age slightly interested.

This is one of the best places to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. If you don't know, BJJ is very difficult and can be hard to learn for a beginner, however, the coaches here explain and demonstrate everything needed so that you can get it down. The people here are also very kind. No egos, just people who are serious about getting better at BJJ which makes for a fun competitive environment. I highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone looking to try out BJJ.

10p Covina is an awesome place to train at! Everybody was willing to share their knowledge of the art of BJJ and muay thai. I thought that the coaches, Kuwi, Rich, and Vinny, were very knowledgeable and you can see that they have a true passion for this beautiful martial art.
My 13 year old son comes here, great place to learn the art, other options in the area but the organization and learning here is the best. Coach Rich is great with this class, the discipline and reinforcement of good habits is pushed on the students and they love it. Highly recommend this for any pre-teens to learn a skill and release some of that extra energy.

10th Planet Covina is the best damn place to be training. The Jiu Jitsu taught here is levels above everywhere else I've been to. You'll learn faster and better here than anywhere else. It's a tight group and everyone is cool with each other. Coaches are top notch. Look no further. This is your next Jiu Jitsu gym.
First off I have to say this gym was good till it wasn’t. I did not want to go public with this situation due to the fact I still respect the students and some of current staff. But since I felt like I got robbed of my martial arts experience and now getting robbed of my money for a situation that has nothing to do with me, now I must address this. First off the owner of the gym contacted me about a former coach that I became friends with and bashed him and said plenty of other foul things about. Which I didn’t understand what that has to do with me. He told me if I’m seen training with him I can no longer go to the gym anymore. *Which is not stated in the contract that I signed up for btw* So he gave me the option to choose a side . I never picked a side which I feel no need for because I must repeat I have nothing to do with there PERSONAL situation. He gave me the option to terminate my contract and get refunded. So I thought about it and felt very uncomfortable that I’m involved in this mess that has nothing to do with me, so I asked for a refund. He accepted and claimed he was gonna refund me. I check and nothing, contacted him again to ask and he said it was being be processed, which it wasn’t . I recently asked again to look into it but now no reply.. This situation is very unfortunate and unacceptable and most importantly unprofessional. This is a warning to anyone out there who thinks about signing up to a gym who is ran by someone who runs off of there ego and emotions.. I just wanted them to do the right thing and just give me my money back. I have nothing to do with there situation but somehow got dragged into it and speaking to other students this is not the first time drama has been brought up about this gym I have receipts of this whole situation.
Lack of professionalism,facilities are out of service half the time,impossible to cancel membership after being kicked out by the assistant coach who's not only a meth addict but also teaches the children's classes. He assumed because I was a minority that I could feed his habit and when I turned him down he told me to leave and six months later this "business" is still trying to charge my account. If you aren't interested in competing: don't train here.They act like you said a bad word if you ask about real world applications. If you've kids:don't let Spencer train them.Last but not least $225/mo when there are so many great schools walking distance from this one at half the price is a joke.
