I placed my nephew in their beginner kids class and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome, the instructors are top notch, they are very patient and know how to get kids engaged to learn , my nephew only 7 had never done any sports , or extra activities, and now he loves his bjj class, classmates and teachers , not only is he now active ,but is learning crucial life lessons while doing something he enjoys , highly recommend this place to anyone interested for their kids 11/10
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to this space that has given me so much. First, Professor Sue is the driving force behind the Women's classes throughout the week. Friday at 6 PM is the perfect way to start the weekend hitting the ground running (pun intended) Her dedication to teaching is on another level. Sue, has not only equipped me with valuable skills but also instilled in me a newfound sense of consistency and accountability. Professor Jerry's passion is unrivaled and you can go to him for the breakdown and understanding of not only bjj but striking as well. Professor Cristian is encouraging and his unwavering dedication and expertise makes the academy a welcoming space to learn and grow. I also like the music choices he picks during 13 round thursday I'm excited to continue my lifelong Jiujitsu journey with them in my corner.
Where should I start? I am glad that I found this academy. Coaches are very supportive, welcoming and caring! Surrounded by very nice people in the classes. If you are looking for a Jiujitsu Academy, look no further. Champion Academy is the one for you or your love one! Guaranteed!
Champion Academy is outstanding. The instructors are exceptional, breaking down complex techniques into understandable steps. The camaraderie among students creates a positive and motivating atmosphere, pushing everyone to excel. From self-defense to competition training, Champion Academy covers it all with dedication and enthusiasm. I've gained not only self-defense skills but also lifelong friendships. I highly recommend.
Best Gym in Mission/McAllen/Edinburg/Pharr area!
Probably the Best Gym in the valley to train. The instructors there are amazingly nice and also incredibly talented at not only explaining everything but also as practitioners of the Art. Highly recommend 11/10
Can't say enough good things about Champion Academy. Very professional as well as welcoming. I have been to gyms where force is favored over technique but not here. Coach Christian's competition accomplishments and years of experience really shine through in his in depth teaching method and always has an easy to comprehend answer for the many questions you are bound to have. Overall great place to learn a new skill and make some friends along the way.
Taking my son here for 2 weeks now and he absolutely loves it! The people are friendly and very welcoming. Definitely love the atmosphere! Recommend for anyone wanting to try out some jiu-jitsu
Not only are the staff welcoming and supportive, but so are the other practitioners. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to start jiu-jitsu.
