After moving to the wirral from North Wales, I wanted to get involved with boxing, signed up for Ultra White Collar and was invited to Centurian to train extra sessions and from that moment I knew I hadn’t joined a gym I joined a family 💚 the best coaches around, different aspects of training, nutrition, weight loss, different levels of combat sport it covers the lot! I joined this gym after talking with a friend (who happens to own it) and discussing I wanted to get back into my boxing. He offered me a chance to join in on one of the amazing charity events the gym organises. Participating in the classes held at this gym to get fight ready. I was amazed at what I had just become part of, don't get me wrong I expected quality from my friend ofcourse but what he and his team have built here is incredible. The classes are magnificent full of detail and true coaching with the support to help you grow and improve session on session. The sparring is controlled and effective no just trying to scrap for no reason but genuine input onto how to be better and get hit less but hit more. The coaches are so down to earth respectful and honest, always willing to give you their time and support you. The knowledge they all possess is quite incredible and always willing to share with those willing to listen. The people? Well that itself is possibly my favourite thing about this gym. Straight talking and honest people who treat everybody who walks through the doors with respect and acceptance. Every time you step in the gym all you see is smiling faces dripping with sweat and hear laughter echoing throughout. Everybody cares for everybody and wants to support and help one another. Egos don't exist here but morales and mentalities are encouraged and grown. I've taken my children to the sessions here also and they absolutely love it, they have participated and continue to in many more classes creating a love for the sport and developing a place they are always excited to attend. After competing in an Ultra White Collar Boxing event I decided to join this gym to change my lesson (defeat) into a win. Since joining I have learnt so many new skills and became part of a boxing family who through thick and thin will always have your back and push you to always do your best. I attend the boxing gym now mainly for fitness and enjoy the classes everytime. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join this amazing family!!
The coaches and the people who train here really are the best people you’ll meet they saved and changed my life for a long long time would recommend the team to anyone who wants to dabble in a combat sport these lot are truly something else 🙌
A Brilliant welcoming club that I am glad I found. Arguably, this was a life changing experience. The coaches are knowledgeable and experienced. Other members are supportive and helpful. Everybody there understands that you have to start somewhere. The support they give to the local children is outstanding.
First handful of sessions completed and with a welcoming experience from all the coaches and participants the encouragement from the team will up bring your passion towards fighting like no other gym. Amazing teaching skills from all coaches and a fantastic environment. I would highly recommend becoming a “centurian”
Top quality gym. Instructors inspire and lift the student's. Bring them out of their shells and accomplish amazing things. They've got classes in boxing, jiu jitsu, bjj, self defence, muay thai, Submission Wrestling, Catch Wrestling. The ONLY dedicated wrestling class in Wirral. Can't believe all this is all under one roof!! Would definetly recommend!!
