Walter “Cascão” Vital is a 4th Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. He has more than 26 years teaching and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Walter is a BJJ Black Belt under Professor Mario Sukata. Our school is a perfect place for kids, women and men. Everybody can learn real effective combat techniques from the best and qualified staff in Las Vegas. Whether you are an amateur or a professional fighter, or just an enthusiastic, or simply want to get in shape, or want to learn a true self-defense art.

After a long break from jiu jitsu, I returned to Cascao last year. Walter welcomed me and now I have a new gym family. Great competitors at the school and plenty of classes for adults and kids. IBJJF recognized and WE WIN! Cascao has three other gyms of affiliation in the area and also gyms in Hawaii, Oregon, Massachusetts and Washington with great teaching and rolls for all those in the tap, snap, or nap lifestyle. They also have judo classes and strength training. Thanks team! OOOOSSSSSSSSS!

My husband and I were in town for ADCC and had been searching for a gym to train at and we are so happy we stopped at Cascao Jiu Jitsu. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The instruction was phenomenal, professors were helpful, and every training partner was wonderful to work with. A home away from home gym is what Cascao will become for us. Thanks again, OSS!

Awesome gym, family atmosphere, and really good technique lesson. The gym owner Mr. Cascao taught and I learned a really cool move. the team was cool, and a teammate even drilled with me after and was super open with teaching cool tricks

What is your definition of Jiu Jitsu family? Mine is being able to make one phone call to a stranger and be welcomed with open arms. My professor offered three places to train while my team and I were in Vegas for Master Worlds. I had a good feeling about Cascao, I mean, whats better than a nickname based on an old kids tv show? We walked in and were not only enthusiastically welcomed but the whole gym was immaculate. The smell was fresh and the mats were clean. Prof Will was our instructor the first night. Not only did he take the time to roll and work with my teammates and I individually; he showed me a variation on my favorite guard that I now use in my game religiously. The second night was even better. The mats were packed and everyone was excited to roll with the new guys. No one was overly aggressive. We all knew that we had to step out on the world stage the next day and everyone respected that mission. Guess what?!? Prof Walter was there as well! He welcomed us like we were his own students. He knows our professor Bryant Pangelinan very well and appreciated the caliber of students he produces. Prof Walter even took the time to roll with each of us and give feedback around our tournament strategy and style/game. I highly recommend training with Cascao. They are what Jiu Jitsu family is all about. 5 STARS

This is hands down an amazing place that anybody who is thinking about martial arts or practicing should check out!! Very clean but mostly the owners amazing heart I was broke down right by his business flat tire blow out all bad!! He stopped and asked if my BFF and I needed help of course two girls trying to change a tire could use help I did not have all the right materials but that did not stop him!! He made it work spending at least of what could’ve been potential business time because did I mention to you that he locked his own business up to help two ladies in trouble an angel he said when u do things for people in need that’s how you get Your blessings I offered cash he politely declined! All in all he is somebody everyone can learn from so please stop by!! I know my husband will be to thank him formally but one more time thank you friend!!!

Not only is the training top not but the quality of people here under the Cascao lineage is top notch. I straight up did not enjoy jiu jitsu as much as I do until I joined this gym. It’s an honor to train under a Cascao black belt Chris and Mylene Engle!

This is to the comment about slamming people is not a discipline or whatever what was said. Dude!!! Its grappling not checkers. Mr. Cascao is a good teacher. I took a free class and loved it. I plan on actually signing up. I will say this dude. Maybe you shouldn't grapple if you're complaining about getting slammed. Again, its grappling not checkers. Js 🤙
