Very welcoming and fun, the instructors are very knowledgeable, and it is a great community. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn HEMA.

An incredible group of guys both knowledgeable and passionate about the art of HEMA, CHFA is a welcoming community dedicated to the preservation of historical eurpoean martial arts. They offer many classes to suit differing schedules and will work with you at your pace, adapting to the student. While classes focus on the subject matter chosen by the instructor, you are encouraged to pursue any subject of your interests as you come together to test systems and work through interpretations to come to a greater understanding of what could be intended from a sequence. The group is active in the community and attends many events throughout the year which serve as a fantastic way to meet likeminded individuals and put your skills to the test. If you have any interest in the art of swordsmanship or just think swords are cool, I encourage you to stop by and see what it's all about

Fantastic place as both a learning environment and a social group. Everyone involved is very welcoming and pushes you to do the very best you can while giving helpful critiques and all the time needed to learn something new. Highly encourage coming out and crossing blades with everyone!

Teachers are nice giving good feedback and some nice laughs. The other students are chill really set the environment well for stabbing people with swords. It is Italian fencing based most of fiore so minus but overall good place show up if you have the time and want to learn how to sword fight proper.
