If you feel intimidated about trying martial arts, then this is the place for you. From day 1, I have felt incredibly welcomed by not only the coaches but also the other members. They've become my friends and teammates. The coaches are patient and break down the techniques in ways that everyone can understand and learn from, plus members embrace the spirit that we're all there to improve and get better. There's a real sense of community here. Everyone is welcome, and it's quickly become a place I can't get enough of. I highly recommend trying a few classes and seeing how you feel. I'm confident you'll like it a lot.

I can’t say enough positive things about this gym. As a solo female traveler and being new to Jiu Jitsu I was intimidated to go to a new gym (previously trained in Dartmouth,NS Carlson Gracie gym) but I was more than welcomed. I attended both Gi and No-Gi classes with the same positive experience in both. Abi went above and beyond to make me feel accepted. The gym is very clean and the female washroom was well equipped. Thank you so much to everyone here who made my first new gym experience one that couldn’t have been anymore positive. You have set the tone and given me the confidence to keep trying new gyms along my travels. 💪🏻

Best Studio in town. Very beginners friendly ,huge girls community, many classes on schedule and very cross-training friendly. The open mats vibe is very nice. There is an ipad so anyone can put some music for the rolls . As well the restroom , lockers room , showers , mats and gym are cleaned every single day.

Amazing gym in the heart of downtown Montreal! Great facilities, kind/caring teachers and an awesome community. Safe, clean, and respectful. Would recommend for anyone in BJJ already or looking to start.

The BEST gym in Montréal for martial arts!! All of the coaches are beyond knowledgeable and help their athletes grow according to their individual level. I’ve met some of the best people at Carlson Gracie Montreal, athletes and players alike.
