Great place to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Timaru is a fantastic environment for adults to learn new skills, improve their fitness, build confidence, and challenge themselves. It’s also great that they offer kids’ classes, giving children the opportunity to learn discipline, respect, and self-defence in a supportive environment. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to start their Jiu-Jitsu journey, whether for themselves or their kids!

I absolutely love training with Carlson Gracie SC. The coaches here are so knowledgeable and as a female in a predominately male sport, not once have I ever felt worried or pushed around on the mats. Everyone here makes sure they work to your level. We bring our kids along and they are always looked after. It’s an awesome family friendly club with quality knowledge and good vibes. So glad we are on our BJJ journey here.
