I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Carlson Gracie BJJ Bundall. I’ve recently started bringing my son Archie along, and from day one the team has been absolutely incredible with him. The coaches made Archie feel comfortable straight away. They’re patient, encouraging, which has been great to see. His confidence has already started to grow after just a few classes. The environment is super welcoming and family-friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about the kids. Highly recommend to any parents thinking about getting their kids into BJJ.

I usually train at 10th planet London in the UK and was in town visiting my wife’s family in the Gold Coast. Jumped in on the early morning no-gi class with coach Jake. Couldn’t ask more from a jiu jitsu gym. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Nice mat space. Excellent teachers and it is clearly an extremely high level gym. Plus, surfers paradise is only a ten minute drive if you fancy a dip after you roll. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic community. The integrity from the leaders are incomparable. I travelled over an hour to train here and it was worth it. Brown belt Max if i recall his name correctly taught me octopus guard on my first lesson which was HUGE! for my game, I gave too many people trouble and swept my friend Jean C using it! There's a big picture of the Brazillian and Australian flag and it's very warming and welcoming to see two worlds collide like this.
