My 12-year-old son started jiu-jitsu here six months ago, and he loves it! Manny and the other instructors are very patient and great with kids. They teach discipline, confidence, and self-defense in a fun and supportive way. The community is also welcoming and friendly. The gym is clean and well-organized, making it a great place for all skill levels.

After being away from martial arts for 30yrs I was nervous about jumping back in, glad I did though. 1st thing I noticed was how helpful Manny and his team were with everyone; but what makes me come back everyday are the people in the classes. All of them are so helpful and know where each other’s limits are. Great classes and even better camaraderie. Manny is awesome with the kids also, they all love him.
My son Jonathan who is 4 and my younger son about to be 2 has joined the kids cladd for a few months. I highly recommend this class for anyone who has young kids. It not only is teaching them how to defend themselves It has also taught my kid to be more confident around others which is invaluable. We plan to stay here at this gym for a long time to continue to see the progess in them.
Best in boca by far. I have 4 kids, all 4 have done Jui Jitsu. We have tried numerous highky rated hui jitsu gyms because we've moved around, and this is by far and away the best program. The staff is incredible, the gym is large and clean. The kids have fun, learn true technique, and experience loving fun structure. My 5.5 year old is loving it and thriving!

When my daughter decided to get involved in Jiu Jitsu, we did our research. We did demos at a number of different facilities. Professor Soares welcomed us, and my daughter’s been practicing here for several months now; without a doubt, this has been one of our greatest experiences to date. Soares provides 110% during every session, his team is super supportive, and my daughter has learned so much. His rates are better than every other place we looked at and he has the most available sessions throughout every week. He directs every session, treats the children with the utmost respect, and drives them with high expectation. 100% satisfied and highly recommend.

My son is 4 years old. He started going here 2 months ago. I was looking to find a coach who could be not only a good teacher, but also a male role model since my husband works so much the kids barely see him. I know in a boy's life, a coach can be as important as a father. When I walked in for the first time and saw Manny I thought to myself "this is it". I had my share of martial arts back when I was a teenager. He looked and sounded confident and successful. The class was bright and clean. I took advantage of 1 week trial and was further impressed by their approach to teaching, discipline, and respect for students. Yes, for students, and the student respect back. It is very student focused approach. Professor Jonas is so warm and respectful. Professor Manny is idea generator and keeps discipline in check, very organized. They try their best to understand each child and have individual approach when see fit. It's the best combo you can find. They have younger assistants that follow the same principals. Having such a class of 3 to 6 year olds is a challenge that Manny and Jonas handle with dignity, thus teaching the kids how to handle the challenges in a healthy way. Manny always announces if any competitions are open. The school also has in-house competitions scheduled a couple of times per year. Oh, and the parents. They are nice too. Someone like Manny will always attract a crowd that is nice. OSS

I started researching BJJ gyms so that myself and my son (5 year old) could start training together! Not only did I find a gym that accommodates his age group more than 1 or 2 times a week unlike other gyms but came across a very knowledgeable and Professional atmosphere! Professor Manny has created a family community for whatever your looking for in your BJJ journey! Whether your just wanting to stay in shape, compete, or learn self defense this gym has no ego and has a home for all. The members are all inviting and the atmosphere Professor has created is unique and makes you not want to miss a day! Coming from another gym this was a great find and my son and I couldn’t be happier.

This place is amazing! Everyone here is very friendly and willing to help! A great sport for all ages. I started at 45 y/o and my only regret is I didn’t start sooner cause I absolutely love this sport now! So its never to late to start. This place is always clean from the floors to the bathrooms. I started in October and it has changed my life mentally and physically! Manny soares is the owner and main black belt who does the training and instructions! He’s an accomplished jujitsu competitor as well winning many no gi and gi competitions! This is an extremely challenging and technical sport but Manny breaks things down to make it easier. Manny is an amazing man and friend! He treats you like one of his family members! The training times are great with sessions in the morning, afternoon or evening. So you can make at least one session or go to multiple sessions in a day. I couldn’t be happier with joining this place and look forward to continuing to learn and sharpening my technique! I attended multiple gyms in the south Florida area looking for a gym that had a good mix of tough competitions and culture of family, Manny's gym nails both right in the head. I was so nervous to try BJJ before coming here! Manny and everyone else at the gym have made me feel so welcome and I really look forward to coming to class :) I am a small female and was initially worried about getting hurt. Manny puts a lot of emphasis on safety and since coming to my first class, I realized that nobody is trying to hurt you. Everyone at this gym is there to help you. It is a truly wonderful and positive environment! If you are considering trying BJJ for the first time but are nervous, just do it! It’s so much fun and a great workout. Manny Soares is a multiple time world champion, he knows how to train like a champion, and knows how to make champions. I’ve been training with him for a short while, and I only have positive experiences from his school. The dojo is full of great vibes and great people. Manny Soares doesn’t only teach Jiu-Jitsu technique, but he also teaches the philosophy of the mat. Overall, this is an amazing school, with world class Jiu-Jitsu. I’d recommend anyone who is in the Delray Beach and Boynton Beach area to check them out.
I’m new to BJJ. This is the first gym I’ve been to. Manny was nice enough to give me a free week trial and a Gi to use. Everyone at the 7am class was nice and willing to teach me. I liked it so I signed up for the monthly membership. The instructor Matt is great! So far I really like it every time I come. Had a little injury that kept me out a couple weeks but came back today. I know BJJ will make me a better version of myself so I plan to stick with it. Although I’m completely new, it’s nice to be involved with the class and not feel left out of anything. I’ve taken some boxing classes before and felt as a newcomer I was unable to participate in a lot of the drills. If you are considering BJJ but are a little intimidated or uncertain if it’s for you, go here and see about a free week trial while they still offer it!
Carlson Gracie Jiu-jitsu is the best place when it comes to learning brazilian jiu-jitsu. It has the best environment and for learning and the highers belts will even help you out if your struggling learning a certain technique, and the instructor is very professional and skilled and will show a multitude of positions and submissions that will surprise you and keep you interested in jiu-jitsu. Professor Manny came highly reccomended by many of my friends in the martial arts community. His instruction is world class and he produces great competitors while running an excellent program for adults as well as children. I was training at a kickboxing gym that started to teach BJJ twice a week. I realized I loved it and started to look for a full time BJJ gym. There are many in my area but when I found Carlson Gracie Manny Soares, I know I found the right place. Coach Manny cultivates a strong feeling of family and support, which is incredibly important in BJJ because jiu jitsu is really hard and you need to know you can lean on your team on those tough days. Coach Manny is so happy and empowering and an excellent instructor in all the classes he teaches. The people at this CG are equally as lovely, and I am so lucky to have found a team of people invested in my success on the mats. My only regret is that I didn’t find CG sooner.

I've been training under professor Manny for 9 years. He has always been dedicated to the sport of Brazilian Jiujitsu, passing on the tradition and knowledge to his students who he considers family. Instruction are bar none the best, Manny makes sure that his gym is hygienic and atmosphere warm and family like. I moved away from south Florida over a year ago. Every chance i get I travel down to train with professor Manny and spend time with my jiujitsu family. That is how we are, that is what we get from Manny. Not just martial arts and physical training, but a sense of family and belonging.

Amazing school! Coach Manny Is a never ending plethora of jiu-jitsu knowledge. I am a black belt and still feel super under educated compared to Manny. I highly recommend this school if you are looking for the best and most Extensive knowledge of jiu-jitsu. On the flip side he also has a very mellow crowd. There is an arrangement of older guys trying to stay in shape with out over doing and absolute beast that compete a lot. Never did I see any of the high level guys bully or train to hard with those that are recreational I training. No egos. Just a lot of love for the sport of jiujitsu and anyone training to learn. Osss

Coach Zach really inspired us to enroll our 4 year old daughter into the school. I have quite a few friends in the BJJ network locally and they assured me and my wife she was in good hands....and they were right!!! Prof. Manny is an amazing instructor and along with Coach Shawn, Zach, Eddie and Joe there is no place we would rather be. The kids class is growing and it’s awesome to watch them grow and perform the techniques. The coaches work with all of the kids so well and are so patient (way more patience than me)! Visited this gym while in town for the holidays. My brother and best friend train at this gym and brought me along. I highly recommend it for anyone. Beginner or advanced, or any age. I noticed the coaches in kids class were great with the kids and the kids were having a blast ! We trained after them and it was a great training session with great coaches and a clean facility. Everyone else training were super friendly and made it great. Thanks Manny and crew!
Thought about joining this place, until meeting I believe his name is Manny. This guy is hot headed, unprofessional, and rude. If your kids pick up his temperament, they'll be getting themselves into more trouble than you could want. I'm sure there are way better options in Boca. Don't be fooled by the smiley faces, and keep looking.
