Awesome Academy, everyone is extremely welcoming. The coaches are all very knowledgeable and fun to train with. Professor Leigh has extensive knowledge in Jiu jitsu and Muay Thai, with over 35 years of experience in various martial arts. I couldn’t recommend this academy more.
Dropped in to the gym on a visit from the UK and wish I could have moved to Denton! Unbelievably welcoming making me feel at home! Extremely professional instructors! Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!
My family goes here and they absolutely love it. I have been to many grappling gyms and this is one of the best for kids. They work well will all the children, teach them self defense concepts, and prep them for competitions. It’s owned by a really good family that makes you feel welcomed. Instructors are very knowledgeable and well versed in BJJ. Anyone that is considering jiu-jitsu for their children or themselves should go here.
Great place for children to learn discipline and how to protect themselves. I bring my daughter here. Miss Jenny and Mr Leigh MacNeil are great. They make us feels like we are visiting friends. You can truly feel they care about their students. Highly recommend it
I recently joined CMJ in Denton, and couldn’t be more pleased! The facility is clean, and the instructors are highly skilled, encouraging, and supportive. I am impressed with the variety of classes offered for all age and skill levels. I highly recommend CMJ Denton to anyone starting their fitness journey or if you’re a seasoned athlete.
My father and I are members and have jumped from gym to gym before in the past. The instructors here are top notch, the environment is welcoming and fun. And I'm so glad there's a jiu-jitsu gym so close to where I live. The kick boxing classes are a lot of fun too.
Great facility and great instructors. Very knowledgeable staff. I have learned so much already and can't wait to see how far my training goes.
Very grateful to be a part of this academy! Awesome leadership, and huge facility. I have learned so many helpful details that are often overlooked in other academys I have attended. Come out and train!
We are so very glad that we found this place!! My 10 yo son has had confidence issues since we moved to Denton 2 years ago... but since he has started classes here, his happiness and views of himself have already taken a turn for the best. My 14 yo son came just to watch one of his classes, and we ended up signing him up as well. Customer service is outstanding, and the instructors are extremely helpful, patient, and fun. The entire atmosphere is a breath of fresh air. The "family feel" of the company is a huge plus! I'm so thankful that we found this gem!
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been a transformative experience for my entire family along with several of my best friends. We're grateful to be part of the CMJJ community. The instructors here are highly skilled and passionate about teaching, and the Denton academy offers a variety of classes that accommodate our busy schedules. More than just a place to learn Martial Arts, CMJJ fosters a sense of belonging and camaraderie that makes it feel like our second home. If you're looking for a supportive environment to learn and grow, come check out CMJJ Denton and join the family. See you on the mats! 🥋
My family and I are members and train at CMJJ Dentom several times a week. The instruction is top notch, and it is a great place for kids to learn discipline as well as self-defense. Not to mention, we have access to the Machado Method, which is an amazing tool for progression and understanding of BJJ. We also do kickboxing on the weekend. Come join the fun!
If you live in or around Denton you are in for a treat. Professor Leigh Macneil is bring CMJJ to Denton. He is a an amazing human being and holds a black belt in Judo as well as Jiujitsu. I have had the privilege to train with him for the last 18 months and I will certainly make the drive from Carrollton to support his passion. Can't wait to see this location flourish.
Wow! I am so glad I made this decision for my boy who will be 5 late July. The owners/coaches are so warm and welcoming. My son is “active” and they had so much patience with him and were able to get him engaged. This is my son’s first ever sport and I’m so glad I chose this. It just feels right. I highly recommend!
