Our boys love it! I have shied away from martial arts since trying to start my oldest when he was 3 at a different martial arts place. He was afraid of the instructor (and honestly a ton more wiggly than most of the other kids... ) so we didn't think it was a good fit for our boys for a long time since they tend to be on the more energetic side. BUT they love going to Cape Martial Arts. My kids always seem happy, attentive, and actually pretty well behaved when I see them in the classroom. I would love to see Cape MA succeed. Keep in mind there is maybe more parent work involved than even piano lessons. A lot of it ends up being stuff I would like to be doing anyway (tracking goals / scrap booking).
The focus on child development is outstanding. Instructors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, students are encouraging and friendly with each other, and the atmosphere is inviting and inclusive. Classes are small enough for plenty of one on one instruction when needed and the kids have a great time. If you are looking for an activity for your child or yourself, I highly recommend checking out Cape Martial Arts.
Cape Martial Arts is fantastic. My kid looks forward to going every time.
My 6 year says it's really fun and you get to learn new things. Mom and Dad like it because they really focus on skills key to overall development. Classes are well organized and structured and they provide weekly feedback on each child's progress.
