My 9 and 7 yo have been going here for about a year, we love this gym, we love the peofesssor and his family. The gym is big, clean and organized. The schedule is flexible and accommodating. Wishing this gym all the success and growth.

I was nervous to start Jiu Jitsu in May 2023. On the first day, everyone was very welcoming and really helped me get started. After training for some months now, some of the things that continue to stand out is the feeling of being welcome, clean facilities and overall a great curriculum taught by Sensei.
I took a class on Tuesday and had a blast. The place is clean and professional. The Professor is awesome and treated me well. Everyone was friendly and helped me out during the class. It was my first class. I signed up to train on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I look forward to learning and improving my skills. Thank you.
I love this place! Last December I took my 5 year old son to try out the jujitsu class. The moment I met Daniela she made me feel welcomed. She was very sweet and friendly and I quickly felt like I was part of the family. Sensei is an amazing person and profesor. You can see the love and passion he has for jujitsu while he coaches. He is also amazing with children!!!! He loves his students. After taking my son for close to a year, I was motivated to start jujitsu myself. I started almost two months ago because of Sensei! He has changed my life! There’s no words to describe how grateful I am for him and the academy.

Professor Silvestre, is an awesome teacher. You can see his passion! He takes his time to really make sure you understand the fundamentals. Nothing but positive things to say about the couching and atmosphere of this gym! I would definitely recommend it.
I'm new to jiujitsu and I was looking for a gym to train when I saw Ralph Gracie Vacaville I didn't think twice as the name speaks for itself. But, more than that, I am extremely happy with the way I was received by Danny, Rodrigo and professor Silvestre. I am encouraged with each class to go further and I feel part of the family which makes me love Jiujitsu even more. In addition i start doing Judo and i'm in love!!!!Thank you Ralph Gracie Vacaville and it's entire team for doing an excellent job.

A truly great experience! I signed my 6-year-old up after trying out the class. He had a great time so I signed up my other son (8yrs old) and myself. Now both my sons take the kids class together and are absolutely loving it. They have made new friends and are making great progress with their jiu-jitsu. Before we signed the kids up I know they were both struggling with their self-esteem and had been bullied a few times at school. But with the classes they have been taking at the Gracie academy they seem to have shown some big improvements with those problems.I'm 36 years old and I am also training in conditioning and muay Thai kickboxing. All the classes offered are great and everything is go at your own pace and fitness level. I highly recommend coming out and trying the classes for yourself!!👍

Been training at RGVV since the doors opened. Love the family environment there and how everyone treats one another with love and respect. Professor Cleidson Ramos’ technique is second to none and he is supportive to all of his students from the kids to the adults. This place is home to me.

The instructor is great. The techniques and skills my kids learn are excellent for self-defense. They get a lot of experience practicing what they are taught. My 13 y/o daughter and 10 y/o son attend the same class Tue & Thu 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A lot of kids of different sizes and skill levels attend, so it's good experience with changing opponents.

From the second I walked through the doors to now, I’ve been shown nothing but kindness and respect from everyone. From the people who come to train to the instructors and admin staff, it is a place I can come to not only learn, but be encouraged and supported through the “family”. It definitely feels like a family, even for someone starting so new. The knowledge from the coaches is great and they have been so patient with me as it’s new to me! They genuinely care about what they do and treat everyone, whether new or experienced with grace.
From the moment that I first stepped onto the mats at Ralph Gracie Vacaville Academy on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020, I have felt at home. The support was immediate. I felt like family, so much so, that a week later, my wife joined the gym as well. We have never been happier! Ralph Gracie Vacaville has helped our confidence, self-defense, endurance, as well as our marriage. We are stronger today as a couple than we were when we first started at the gym. Been an active member since June of 2020 when we re opened after a brief closure due to covid. I initially walked in thinking I was going to have my 5 year old daughter sign up. I was immediately drawn into the family like atmosphere this place exuded and what made me come back after her initial free classes was their interactions with my daughter. When she decided to try soccer instead I signed up begrudgingly and today I can say it has been one of the best choices I could have made for my sanity and for my health. Professor Cleidson Ramos is a rock and has yet to miss any classes. This guy don’t get sick and is always faithful to the task. He’s a fierce competitor and it shows in competition, equally important is his love for his students and the caring way he goes about instructing them on the intricacies of BJJ. My nephew recently joined with me and has quickly taken to it. With all the insanity of a covid year having bjj has been a huge benefit for maintaining normalcy. The owner Rodrigo created a good thing and this team has become a family to me. Cleidson is the heart and soul of this endeavor. Thank you both and to the guys and gals that make coming day in and day out you truly make this place feel like a team and a family.
Before going to this gym I’d never done any sort of martial arts. My first day here everyone was friendly and welcomed me as if they had known me all their lives. Which was a great feeling especially being brand new to a sport. I fell in love with this gym from the first day. Everyone here works hard and is also willing to teach one another. The best part is no one has an ego. Professor Cleidson is very helpful and detailed while teaching which makes it easy to understand. He’s very patient with all skill levels and has no problem providing extra help where needed. The best thing about Professor Cleidson is he knows how to connect on a personal level beyond Jiujitsu. This gym is a family friendly environment which makes me feel right at home. I’m grateful for this gym, for Professor Cleidson and everyone at Ralph Gracie Vacaville. My four year-old-son and I have been training at Ralph Gracie Vacaville since April 2020. Coach Cleidson creates a safe and fun family environment for the kids and communicates well with the parents. I love this gym! They treat my family like family. My 4 yr old daughter was intimidated by BJJ but they couched her and now she loves it! Her confidence has soared and she looks forward to her class. Me and my husband go to the adult class right after (convenient) while my daughter plays with the other kids in their play area. Its perfect! The training is challenging and well worth it!
