It’s a nice and clean boutique BJJ studio hidden in Palo Alto. Kind of hard to find but the instructors were amazing and the students were incredibly helpful. My knees are pretty bad so I appreciated the attention and care that the instructors took to make sure me and my partners were safe through the whole class. Overall, it was a lot of fun and they didn’t charge me for the class since they do a free 3-day trial so you don’t have to commit with your wallet before you like it.

Great gym and great people. I accidentally created my own Caio Terra camp when I dropped past Palo Alto for a few days. I ended up attending 3 days in a row as a drop in white belt after emailing Nick who was super friendly and responsive. Coach Renee set me up with a week long pass and could not have been more welcoming. Providing laundered Gis to drop ins was an absolute game changer. Very clean gym. High quality Jiu Jitsu in the fundamentals classes led by excellent instructor and all round great guy Coach Bruno Ueda. Class on one of the evenings was taken by Mason Fowler which was totally unexpected - and also impressed he guessed my Aussie accent (normally Kiwi)!!! Would definitely return the next time I’m in town. Thank you team for being so welcoming. Great ambassadors for your gym and Caio Terra. 10/10

I’ve been training here regularly since July. It’s definitely a great place to learn BJJ. The instructors are champion level in competition and provide excellent instruction and supervision of the techniques. I always enjoy rolling with others here, often with the same people, and it’s fun to learn as part of this community. I’ve made friends and I’m really glad I made the decision to train here.

This studio is such a gift to the community. The owner and instructors are wonderful at connecting with kids and adult students. The place is new and fitted with white mats so you can see how clean it's kept. It's bright and airy and has a great energy. It has been such a spirit lifter and our family is so grateful to CTA Academy.

Great atmosphere, great BJJ, and something for everyone. Instructors are down-to-earth and humble in spite of often world-class pedigrees. Very little of the "cult" mentality that is present at many BJJ gyms.
