My son has been training here for about a year and half and we just love it! Professor Mario is fantastic and has the perfect blend between discipline and fun for the kids. We tried some other studios first and we knew from the first class this was the place for us.
If you are looking for a place to start your BJJ journey, looking for a new gym, or just looking for solid rolls and a great community, Busy BJJ is the spot. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and Professor Mario's curriculum is great to help step your game up, no matter your experience level.
I absolutely love Busy BJJ! I’ve known Professor Mario since 2008 and he’s be nothing but professional, fair, and fun. All around good guy with a wealth of BJJ knowledge and experience. I have my children in the little bees program and they love it!
We have been coming to Busy BJJ for over seven years and it has been a wonderful experience.
My husband and kids train 3 days a week and it has been such a pleasure watching them learn and grow.
Professor Mario and his team demonstrate the utmost professionalism and skill. And at the same time, when we walk through the doors, it feels like family.
Finally, as a mom, I love knowing that my kid’s safety is always a top priority. They are learning skills that will stay with them for a lifetime.
I just can’t say enough positive things about Busy BJJ. I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in Ju Jitsu.
I highly recommend this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym! Professor Busy is a traditional and consistent instructor, providing an authentic experience that feels genuine and unwatered down. The instruction is concise and well-organized, ensuring everyone understands the techniques clearly. The atmosphere is friendly, respectful, and always fun!
It’s a great place to learn and grow in BJJ!

I dropped in to train with a friend of mine who trains there, and I absolutely loved it. Everyone I worked with was super inviting. Overall an amazing place to train. Highly recommend
I have trained at multiple gyms in the Denver area and Professor Mario is the best around. His knowledge, application of skill, and teaching technique is paramount. This gym is full of good people, good rolls, professionalism, and the gym is always clean! 100% recommend. Thanks!
Fantastic instruction, atmosphere and culture. My kid is developing immensely during his time here. The instruction is excellent whether you are new or advanced. Professor Mario “Busy” and the coaches are so welcoming and awesome!!
I’ve been training at Busy BJJ for a few months now, and everyone there has treated me like family since day one. I had no athletic, sports or martial arts experience when I started. But Professor Mario “Busy” Correa and the other instructors have been guiding me through their excellent fundamentals program, which has already helped me make great progress in fitness, skill level, confidence and discipline. I think it would do the same for a person of any age, fitness level or body type - in a safe and supportive yet appropriately challenging environment. This is a family friendly community-based academy that would be great for anyone, whether you just want to get in shape or want to develop serious competition-level jiu jitsu. In fact it still amazes me that I can watch UFC fights and see Professor Busy cornering for professional MMA fighters (who always seem to win), knowing that he spent several hours the same week giving patient and thoughtful instruction to a middle-aged office drone like me 😂 . I consider myself lucky to train here and look forward to many many years of learning from these great people.
My boys have been training here for over a year. Professor Mario and all of the coaches are incredible. The boys have grown in so many ways and they look forward to every class. In addition, it is a great community of parents and kids!
Great place to train. My daughter and I were in town for a visit and stopped in to train. The atmosphere was great. Professor Mario Correa attention to detail was great and he went out of his way to make us feel like family. It was a great experience. Thanks to all.
My son started training with Professor Mario "Busy" Correa and his awesome coaches a few months ago. He loves to train at Busy BJJ. Professor Busy, besides being a natural at teaching kids and adults, has developed a very structured class.
I'm a Texas and Colorado certified elementary school teacher; we were taught about the blooms taxonomy in order to gradually teach students. Well, at Busy BJJ, it is not any different, which is very positive in my eyes. I have seen at least the first three points of focus from the bloom's taxonomy integrated in Busy's lessons, which are: Knowledge (Remember), Comprehension (Understand), and Application. I'm pretty sure the other three (Analysis, Evaluation, and Synthesis) come with the advanced classes.
I am very pleased to have my son training at Busy BJJ. So much that I signed up and started training two weeks after my son did.
Join Busy BJJ. It is a very friendly place with a sense of community.
This place has authentic Jiu Jitsu. Professor busy is the best of the best. I always thought my strength would get me by in a fight but Professors taught me that technique will win over strength the majority of the time. I realized he was right after loosing allot.. He makes learning the sport allot of fun. Come and see for yourself, you wont be disappointed!
What a disaster this place is. Extremely unprofessional. Discriminatory against Veterans. Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand. Ignorance and prejudice and fear walk hand in hand.
Avoid this place at all costs. Spend your money elsewhere, where they actually care about your development as a human being and in martial arts, and don't place such a sad premium on your personal life outside of the gym.
This is extremely petty behavior that should never be tolerated.
