Great instruction and amazing facility. Super knowledgeable in the art and discipline of jiujitsu in the GI and Nogi. Professor Marcello Bergo is articulate in his delivery of the technique. Professor George Bemister is also deliberate in passing the knowledge to his colleagues and students

Amazing people, amazing atmosphere. They have a great reputation, and a great team. The typical mma studio rigidity is not there. No need to be a hard-core competitor, and no fear if you're completely new to the process. There is something for everyone.

George and Tony taught an AMAZING women’s self defense class to my Christian divorced women’s group. They taught us skills to defend ourselves that were simple and effective. They were knowledgeable and passionate about woman’s safety. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for classes or recommend friends and family here. THE PLACE TO GO for Jiu Jitsu in Jacksonville!

Great school. Dropped in for a few classes while I was in Jacksonville. Everyone was super friendly and made you feel welcome. Drilled for an entire class then rolled after. Would train here for sure if I lived in Jax.

I am in Jacksonville for a couple of weeks for work and I am glad I found BTT JAX. Everyone at the school is friendly and welcoming. There is a high level of jiu-jitsu being taught here, but the techniques are broken down into steps that anyone can learn. Marcello has an endless amount of jiu-jitsu knowledge. I would definitely train here next time I am in the area.

My niece and nephew were in town visiting. I called ahead to see if they could just integrate into a class. I brought them in to the evening class and they were easily able to go along with the kids. The staff are really welcoming! In speaking with one of the Mothers, she indicated her husband took the adult classes. She was pleased that the adult classes are really great about welcoming new people with no bullying or judgement. All around terrific establishment!

The school is awesome! Excellent Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction provided by multiple time World Champion Marcelo Salazar Bergo. Friendly atmosphere, excellent kids program, and a very large well equipped facility. They offer several classes throughout the day along with opportunity for private instruction and group classes. If you would like to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, mixed martial arts, general self defense instruction, or just want to get in shape for the summer - stop by the school and check it out.
