The space is open, clean, and lots of mat room to roll around. I was coming from out of town and wanted a place to roll for a few days while I was here. The instructors and team were very inviting and the rolling was fun. I will come here again when I next visit Dallas.
A Grateful Experience at Brazilian Top Team Jiu Jitsu Gym in Irving, Texas
I recently had the privilege of training at the Brazilian Top Team Jiu Jitsu Gym in Irving, Texas, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity. Despite being based in San Antonio, I was warmly welcomed by the professors and allowed to train at this outstanding facility.
First and foremost, the professors at Brazilian Top Team deserve immense appreciation. Their willingness to accommodate visitors and their friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. Despite being away from my regular gym, they made me feel like part of their Jiu Jitsu family. Their expertise and dedication to teaching were evident in every session, and I am truly grateful for the knowledge and skills I gained under their guidance.
What struck me the most about Brazilian Top Team was the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The gym's community is filled with supportive individuals who are passionate about Jiu Jitsu. Despite being a visitor, I was warmly embraced by both the professors and the fellow practitioners. This camaraderie and positive energy made my training sessions even more enjoyable and motivating. The culture of respect and teamwork is truly commendable.
In conclusion, I cannot express enough gratitude for my experience at Brazilian Top Team Jiu Jitsu Gym in Irving, Texas. Despite being based in San Antonio, I was warmly welcomed, and the professors' willingness to let me train there was truly appreciated.

Absolutely the best gym i have ever been to! Professors are extremely professional and very understanding. Also they are the best looking, just so you know ;) They always make you feel comfortable and will never leave you behind.
The gym is always kept clean.
You never have to feel like a stranger because all the people there will make you feel right at home. If you ever have a question, i promise you will never be left without an answer.

I’m so happy to have joined btt Irving. The professors and higher belts are patient and thoughtful when teaching. It’s easy to be intimidated by the sport but professor Machado has made it a point to make it easy to participate and excel in jiujitsu.
Brazilian top team has the best professors they are passionate about what they do and have no problems spending extra time with their students. They also show appreciation for law enforcement. I have learned a lot in a short period of time thanks to all the professors they are the best in the game.
I absolutely love the gym, the atmosphere, and the culture. The professors are knowledgeable with their craft, and take the time to teach techniques to high level competitors and hobbyists alike. They’ve definitely made it an environment that is welcoming, fun, and challenging. 🤙🏾🤙🏾
I’ve been training at BTT for over 2 years now and I really love them. Came from another school and my game is 100% better!! The coaches are so friendly and easy to talk to. They know how to teach and do it very well. They always make everyone feel very welcome there. They have a great competition team and all belt colors, weight classes for you to train with and improve your game. Also, lots of girls to train and be friends with! Nice mats and structure in general. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
BTT under Professor Machado and Professor Misty is a martial arts school with a plethora of qualified Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts, multi-world champions, and high level ranking athletes at your disposal. It is a truly welcoming place where you find great instructors/instruction, training partners, and lifetime friends. They also offer plenty of classes that can fit your schedule so you can meet your training needs.
Best place to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! My husband, our 9 yr old son and I, all three train here and have since 2019. The owners and all the black belts are committed to teaching us the best techniques. They demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness and we have a family-like atmosphere. I also really appreciate having a large, supportive group of ladies to train with. If you want to improve your physical, mental and emotional health, this is your place!

Great classes, great professors, great family, I recommend this Jiu Jitsu School , they have a big parking lot and classes that fit in my schedule time.
Such a wonderful gym. I came to this gym from another with 6 years of training (purple belt). The quality of training, and the wonderful environment professor Machado and Professor Misty have created here is astounding. My Jiu-Jitsu developed in such a profound way that I now find myself competing on a level I never thought I would. Gym is great for competitors, as well as hobbyist. My son came over to this gym as well, and he’s noticibly become more driven and motivated in the sport, especially now that he’s transitioning to adult classes. Men or women looking to start BJJ or find a new gym should definitely stop in and try a class out!
This gym is such a warm and welcoming environment especially for women. This gym has an amazing women’s community. Misty is such an inspiring professor for the women.

My boys (13 & 11) have been training at BTT Irving since they opened and love it so much- the world class instructors, the fun & positive environment. I enjoy seeing new kids try it out and then become regulars, that’s how awesome BTT is!
Really happy BTT made its way to the Irving area. Trained with Leonardo Machado in Plano and North Dallas and now my home in Irving. BTT has become family to me!
Great place for Brazilian jiu-jitsu! Brazilian instructors with years of experience and numerous titles and gold medals. Awesome, friendly people to train with. I highly recommend them!
