My favorite gym I’ve ever trained at. Rodrigo, the Tacketts, and all my training partners made this such a unique and special environment. I always tell people that Fight Factory is the perfect mix of a great culture and tough training room. The instructors stay up to date on the latest techniques and training methods, and the gi and no-gi classes are top notch. Highly recommend!!!
Posted 2 weeks agoAfter moving to Austin a year and half ago, I was on the hunt for an academy to call home. My search lasted about a month, and within that month I found myself back at fight factory multiple times. Needless to say my mind was made up. The Professors and team at FF have welcomed myself and many others with open arms. They offer an even mix of gi and no gi classes with high level instruction for both. The gym is always clean, and everyone comes in with a positive attitude. When they say no ego, no drama, just jiu jitsu, they mean it! 5/5 stars
Posted 3 weeks agoIf you're a parent or someone that has interest in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu you can not go wrong enrolling with this academy. Personally, I've learned a lot about myself training here. One of my core memories from Brazilian Fight Factory so far involves our head instructor Rodrigo Cabral, he said something along the lines of "Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone, but if you can't do the move, its your poor conditioning." I laughed at first; however, that phrase has become my mantra to improve myself. 5 stars.
Posted 3 weeks agoProbably one of the most fun times I've had cross training at another gym. Everyone is super nice and the instructors were very knowledgeable. It would be a great gym for anyone "hobbyist" beginner on up to high level competitors. If you are on the north side of Austin or in austin I'd at the very least go by and try some classes out before you decide on a gym permanently and if you are in the area drop by and have a blast you won't regret it.
Posted 11 months agoFantastic BJJ academy in Austin! I recently moved to town this past summer and spent a fair amount of time trying out different gyms around. Really glad I decided to join here. The instruction whether from Professor Rodrigo, the Tackett brothers, or Davis is top notch and very technical. They really do a good job of spending time until you learn everything properly which I appreciate. Plenty of great training partners and everyone comes in with a good attitude which makes it fun to train. I'm very much appreciative of the upper belts who will spend time on the side helping you improve and answering all questions. Highly recommend this to anyone seeking sound training in a fun environment!
