Small space but comfy and functional. Instructor/Owner Alex is a great guy and very welcoming and knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend.
Bg jiujitsu truly is an amazing place to train. Whether your new or experienced this place still has much to offer. The teacher Alex is someone who keeps a friendly and fun environment while still teaching amazing martial arts. I would for sure recommend this place to others.
Great place to test your limits and learn bjj.
I’ve been coming to BG jiu jitsu for over a month now and I couldn’t recommend it more. The owner, Alex, makes everyone feel super safe and supported. With a background in PT, he ensures proper precautions are taken. The community here is uplifting, wonderful and ranges in age and skill level. This is a space the town has been missing.

I love coming in and working with Alex and the group that he has put together in BG. The teaching is fantastic and he brings such a high level of energy to each class that makes the environment very enjoyable. My performance is constantly improving, and its very rewarding to see that progress.
Alex is a great bjj instructor! He’s able to take care of new guys like me while still challenging the higher belts. Casey is awesome on the kickboxing side, a ton of knowledge and very clear instruction. Really glad I found this gym, great guys and awesome atmosphere.
Very solid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/ MMA. Really good people who are very friendly and willing to help. Makes me want to train again after I had ACL surgery.
I was lucky enough to train at BG Jiu Jitsu on the opening day, and THOROUGHLY impressed. The owner Alex is a well-versed former wrestler as well as an accomplished black-belt in the art. His workouts are tough, enlightening, and most of all fun! I highly recommend anyone from any level/ background to check out his gym and mentorship!!
