  Juan is a great guy and made my son feel comfortable during his first ever BJJ class. He is great with kids and adults. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to get their kids or themselves involved in the sport.

  This is the 3rd academy that my daughter has been in, in the 4 years of her training. I will say, without question, that it is by far the best yet. The training is explained very thoroughly, but not in a way that keeps my ADHD kid bored. She is absorbing so much more, and retaining it! The coaches are amazing for kids and adults alike, and so accommodating. I am so thrilled that Juan Vazquez III finally opened his own academy! The prices are lower than any other, and the training is more than worth the cost. HIGHLY recommend 419 Jiu Jitsu to anyone who wants to gain strength and confidence in a positive atmosphere.

  As an owner of a BJJ Academy myself, I've had the pleasure of knowing Juan since we were both White Belts. Juan has been dedicated to the art in all aspects. He has always stood out as a leader and teacher amongst the pack. He is a technical knowledgeable grappler as well as an honest stand up human being. If you are looking to get into Jiu Jitsu, 419 is a great place to do so!
