Great place to train. Owners are welcoming and accommodating. My kids have enjoyed making friends and being challenged to grow their skills. Looking forward to the Re-opening.
This is a great gym for families. My husband is gone a lot and this gym family helps me out with my littles so I can continue training. They try to be the village alot of military families need! My kids love Coach Donny and BJJ.
Walking into this place is an immediate feeling of family. Everyone knows everyone, the kids are taking classes, the parents are training, and you just know you are welcome there. I used to think that jiu-jitsu was over for me because of my crazy schedule and taking so much time off but the professors always take their time to meet me where I am in my training and build me up. My son has gained so much confidence through training as well! The anti-bully method they teach is great for kids (and adults, too). Overall, just an amazing place to be.
I recommend this gym/dojo to anyone looking to learn self defense for themselves or their children. My children and I both attend classes and the experience with this dojo has been AH-Mazing!!! The people here have become family, and we have learned so much!!
I have known the owners of this fine facility for over 10 years. I have met few people with the work ethic and warrior ethos that Don Bowen possesses. A model husband, father and soldier I have looked up to him for many years. He is a man of the highest integrity, an enormous heart and a love for God that few will ever find. The people at Bowen Combative Arts have become family to me. It is my go to place to train whenever I am in Clarksville. All students feel welcome and the training atmosphere is amazing. People from all walks of life coming together to share knowledge and pushing each other to improve are present at Bowen Combative Arts. The kids program is absolutely stellar as well. I have small families in this great jiu jitsu community all over the place. This place is very special to me and I’m incredibly thankful for my time here. Come join us!
Love the PEOPLE. You become part of a greater family once you walk through these doors. Expect to be taught more then just how to defend yourself. This place is the REAL DEAL.
It’s a family owned and operated dojo with coaches that are very knowledgeable in their arts. Coaches are willing and able to spend 1 on 1 time giving each student pointers and an experience unique to what they need to work on. Coming here has improved my form immensely
My husband and I train here and there are not enough words to express how much we love this gym! The owners are amazing and treat us all like family. My husband has exceeded his goals when it comes to competing, all thanks to Professor Donnie and the great training partners here.
