Great place to learn and excel at jiu jitsu. I've been coming for a year as a middle-aged dude and making slow/steady progress. Roy's place is gritty, diverse, and has a great family rate. All are welcomed as long as you're respectful and trying your best. My kids are developing resilience and as a veteran, I'm getting a great workout and having a lot of fun and fellowship reminiscent of what I miss in the service.
Posted 8 months agoI came to Boss Grappling with no experience in combat sports or gym life whatsoever. I found a great group of people who are committed to helping each other make progress in a very difficult sport. I've since gotten both of my daughters involved, and I couldn't be more happy about it. Whether you're a hobbyist like me, or looking to compete and win medals, Boss is a great place to train, learn, and grow. 5 stars all day. I tell everyone I know to come check it out. 7 free days of training, and you can do multiple classes a day if you want. We love our coach and crew, and we're proud to call this gym home.
Posted 2 years agoThis gym offers everything from fundamentals to beginners to intermediate to advanced and MMA. In addition to traditional jiu-jitsu, you will learn from catch wrestling, American wrestling, and if you want, striking skills. As a beginner, you will not need to worry about anything because the fundamentals are really basic and there is no live interaction. The atmosphere is low-key and there are no requirements for purchasing any products such as uniforms or whatever. This is your best choice for a economical introduction to one of the best martial arts that has proven itself time and time again in the competitive arena.
