Posted 1 month agoAmazing classes and expert coaching. Learn something new every session and have made a great group of friends that push me further and further everyday.
I really enjoy my classes here at Black Widow. Amazing coaches and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I’ve learnt so much and couldn’t recommend it more. tTechniques always explained clearly by coaches and push you to improve while keeping it fun. Brilliant workout every session . Highly recommend to anyone looking to start Muay Thai or improve their fitness.
Ive had a wonderful experience with this gym, and I couldn’t be happier with the impact it’s had on my lifestyle and health/fitness in general. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about everyone’s growth. I personally go for PT sessions myself but I have been to the classes during the week. The environment is positive, welcoming, and motivating. I look forward to every session and not only helps physically but mentally as well. I highly recommend this gym to anyone/any parent looking for a supportive, high-quality martial arts program.
Amazing club. Coaches are high level. Teaching skills are on a top level. Totally recommend this club . My son is 8 years old and he is really happy to be part of this team . Thank you

Posted 2 years agoI couldn't be happier with our experience at Black Widow Martial Arts! This is the second member of my family to train here, and the positive impact on my 5-year-old son has been incredible. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also patient and encouraging, creating a wonderful learning environment. My son's confidence has skyrocketed, both inside and outside the gym. His fighting abilities have improved significantly, and he's also made fantastic new friends. The supportive community at Black Widow Martial Arts has truly made a difference in his development. I highly recommend this gym to any parent looking to boost their child's confidence, skills, and social connections.
Posted 2 years agoI wouldn’t recommend this to people who have a genuine interest in Muay Thai as there are better gyms out there that can offer better. I also wouldn’t recommend this gym to any beginner women as it can feel extremely uncomfortable
This gym is absolutely diabolical. I started a membership for my little sister with them. She enjoyed the tryouts (it was a 1 to 1) tryout. So she said she wanted to go naturally I then started the membership. While we were at the front desk I asked how payment would work. They said they would take "cash in hand" every month (tax evasion) or I could set up a direct debit. On 2 separate occasions I asked them if I could cancel anytime if I chose direct debit I was told yes both times. I then questioned on the website where it says "12 month contract" they still said yes I could cancel. So now I've gone on their word and arranged the direct debit thinking if she doesn't like it it's fine I can just cancel. My sister went for a month and hated it. Every time she was coming back from her lessons she was saying how it was boring, it was full of boys and how it made her extremely uncomfortable. She said the instructors would favouritise the boys over the girls. So my mom who now became concerned was taking her to these lessons. She observed herself and told me that what she's saying is true and that for the majority of the lessons my little sister had been ignored. So I allowed her to finish the month and pull her out to take her to another place. Then I go to contact Ashbourne management to cancel the direct debit. They proceed to tell me I'm locked into a 12 month contract so now alarm bells are ringing I was told by the staff even after questioning where it clearly states 12 month contract if it was actually enforceable and they said no. Now I gave the reason for cancelling because this gym is clearly not living up to the standard that was promised. They came back to me saying after contacting the gym it was flat out denied by black widow. I've since then been going back and forth with them to come to a resolution. I've tried on several occasions via email, call and voicemail to make contact with the gym so I could come to a resolution with them. They have blatantly ignored and not bothered responding at all. I'm constantly receiving emails from Ashbourne asking me to reinstate direct debit. It's atrocious. It is the biggest scam. For anybody out there who has younger sisters or daughters etc looking to get into Muay Thai. This is not the place for them. I urge you if you do insist on giving them lessons here to not listen when they tell you you can cancel. And go for their "cash in hand" option.
Avoid at all cost Black widow is very pleasant in getting you to join just like any business and it’s a form of living for anyone ( which I totally understand) but their needs to be some compassionate grounds especially for kids joining and tieing them in to a 12 months contract minimum. Kids are vulnerable, very easily influenced and always wanting to try various things and places. Black widow not allowing you to cancel a membership for kids without a medical note supporting or cause of emergency, what a disgrace Anyway lesson learnt, an expensive one but will like to inform all other friends and family out there and people looking to take kids for training there. The instructors are not consistent and on some occasions the young youth handle the class ( again no issues, as normally they are ego to go) But majority of them concentrate on their own selves and love posing Open to answer any feedback and help tackle further problems Many thanks Husain and family
