I am a student of Black Tiger Martial Arts and I have been going for almost 1 year.It is a fantastic school.Master Robin,Master Bill are great teachers and they understand and love their students.Also they teach amazing discipline.
My daughter has attended Black Tiger Martial Arts in York since July 2021. She LOVES it. She has learned so much and I feel more confident that she can protect herself if needed. Master Robin is tough but fair and teaches her students the tenets of taekwondo and expects them to work hard in school, at home, and in her class. She absolutely has high expectations for every child and will correct them if necessary which is expected in ANY sport and my child participates in multiple. Master Robin cares about all of her students and we are happy to be part of the Black Tiger family.
My son has been going to Black Tiger for about 6 months now. He absolutely loves it! Master Robin and Master Bill are amazing and super supportive of their kids!! All kids are treated equally, and they push and help the kids that need a little extra push. The confidence from my son since attending has been amazing!
Master Bill & Master Robin are excellent !! 2 of children are in their classes and absolutely love them ! Martial arts teaches respect , respect for authority & teaches discipline ! My child goes to this martial arts place. He suffers from ADHD in OCD. I’ve seen a dramatic change in my child since he started only at four years old. Master robin shows great loyalty and honor in her position in treats everyone as an equal. And when people don’t follow the rules they get punished accordingly as in such a time out. She shows great respect in her role in to others even to the parents. And if a parent has a problem she is more than willing to talk before class or after. It’s the best place for your kid!!!
My son has been going to Black Tiger for 5 months & everyone has noticed how much of a difference it has made on him. He went from a shy kid with a severe speech delay & inability to focus to a social butterfly who works hard every day! I have seen the master instructors there turn kids from has down unable to talk to head up & smiling within days. They have helped me & my son & I will always recommend Black Tiger to everyone I know.
Black Tiger Martial Arts has been an exceptional addition to the York community. My son has been in classes for almost a year and he has thrived. He practices the tenets in the dojo and outside the dojo. His confidence has boosted. He is now a green belt and also was invited to Black Belt Club which is something you have to be recommended for by the Masters. It is an honor. Master Robin and Master Bill are amazing with the kids! Our son and and the entire class, honestly, are very excited to begin class everyday! The Masters work very well with the children to ensure they understand all aspects of Tae Kwon Do, including the 5 tenants. Our son’s outlook on situations as well as confidence in his task(s) already reflects his lessons from class. This is definitely one of the best gifts we could ever present our kids with, as it instills qualities and principles they will carry for a lifetime! Thank you, Master Robin & Master Bill, for everything you do with your students and our kids!
We tried this studio for a few months until I just couldn’t take it anymore. Master Robin is the absolute worse. She belittles children of all ages except for the ones she is obviously favors. She has very little trained experience working with younger children and it shows. A nursing degree does not take the place of a degree in early childhood or elementary age children. Do your child a favor and go somewhere else.
