BSA offers Sambo and Mixed Martial Arts which inlcudes Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Wrestling, Submission, Muay Thai and Kick Boxing.
Been coming once a week for adult classes due to work commitments but have really enjoyed the expertise and knowledge of the owner Yannick and his team. Good facilities and also have done 1:1 sessions which has worked well. My daughter has also done sessions and has enjoyed it. Very diverse and welcoming place.
Great academy! Coach Yannick is skilled, patient, and truly cares about the kids. My son has gained confidence, discipline, and a real love for Judo and Sambo. Highly recommended.
Black Spider Academy has been my first choice for myself and my kids. Its been almost 2 years and feels like home here. Best gym in Bradford so far. Sensei Yannick is amazing coach. With deep knowledge and ocean of experiences. His sambo and judo skills are unmatched so far i have seen. His judo moves are an art itself and its so amazing to watch him. Regarding his teaching. Sensei Yannick is amazing teacher. Lovely person. And he has a passion of teaching kids that you can see in his eyes. He will make sure his students achieves the best and performs best. Yannick/Yaya is a highly skilled and qualified Level 2 British Judo coach. I am a black belt in Judo and after many years away from training, I met Yannick on a coaching course and now train regularly at Black Spider Academy. My Judo has massively improved both from technique and strategy and I highly recommend Black Spider Academy for existing Judo players looking to take their game to the next level.
Great place all around good teaching and coaching methods by the coach as he will thoroughly teach you through the technique until you understand in a calming way without you having to stress. The place is a good gym as it has all the requirements needed for a good gym. I would highly recommend this too any parents or children who are wanting to learn to fight or to train as your child or adult will be taught to discipline and to be hard but with passion
My son attends Black Spider Academy, and I must say, it is an exceptional institution with a remarkable staff. My son thoroughly enjoys his time there, and I am grateful for the positive impact Sensei has had on his life. Sensei possesses a wealth of knowledge and is an outstanding individual.
Posted 2 years agoMy son attends black spider academy. He started when he was 5 and is now 6. He absolutely enjoys his time there every weekend. The class timings are great for primary aged children as both classes are on a weekend and you don't have to faff about picking them up from school and ruining your evenings. Especially when they are tired. The facilities at this place are great and the Sensei really understands each indivudal child's needs. He is respectful to the children and commands their respect. Everyone's made to feel very welcome at black spider academy.
Posted 2 years agoGreat place to train offering a range of martial arts under one roof. Club has a family atmosphere and promotes respect and safety. Coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. They focus on you as an individual to ensure you are making progress and always improving.
Posted 3 years agoThis is a very good academy where my boys have been going for the past year in which they have won competitions where they have won silver and bronze medals. The staff are very kind and helpful. This academy has given my boys alot of confidence in self defence and I would highly recommend everyone to send their children here.

If you want to get your kids to interact and boost their confidence as well as there martial arts, then I highly suggest you bring them here. At black spider, they really focus on every individual which you don’t get at many places nowadays. Best in the game, get yourselves down!

There's a lot of potential with this club. The teaching is good but the communication is poor. The behaviour of the owner is very unprofessional. Unfairly making accusations against a parent and then not allowing them to respond. If you prefer dropping off and not paying attention to what your kids do then this is the place for you. Also bare in mind that training anywhere else is forbidden according to the coach.
