I wish I had a 6th star to give! Could not have found a better gym. The teaching is high level and detailed. Coach Wes is extremely knowledgeable and actively works with every student. The other students are welcoming! The environment is great! Any single class I’ve learned more than MONTHS at other gyms. Definite must attend!

Clinics, open mats and Competition Wrestling Team. Wrestling has produced/trained multiple State Champions, All Americans, World Team Members and the facility Is safe, clean and very roomy. Great gym to learn jiujitsu and wrestling. We absolutely love this gym. My entire family attends and trains. Very family oriented. Professor Wes is very professional and you can tell he has a love for jiujitsu and wrestling. Coach Sophie is great and patient with the kiddos. All the coaches that help out with the kids class show a great amount of patience and care... I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable and caring gym for my family.

Friendliest group of killers I ever met! I have two boys, age 10 and 14 that train here. Coaching is expert level! My boys look forward to training here!

Dropped in for an open mat on Christmas Eve. Wes, Sophie, and the other grapplers were very friendly and got plenty of great, tough rolls. There were two black belts, three purple belts, and three blue belts present. Everyone rolled in the Gi. I look forward to visiting again on a future trip to the Panama City area. Thank you, Black Sheep Jiu-Jitsu for the hospitality!

I've been training with this gym for over a year now and it's been an experience. The learning environment is head over heels beyond anything that I've experienced ever before and the learning process along with the curriculum provided to foster growth clearly have been thought about deeply to meet the needs of the students.

If you're looking for quality jiu-jitsu and wrestling this is the place to be! It's a place where my whole family trains and we love it. Fantastic, very knowledgeable black belt instructor and we are about to get a women's class next month. Their wrestling program is the best in the county, hands down! The amount of state ranked kids speaks for itself.

Man there’s a lot to say about this gym first off one of the best environments. How the students are taught is astronomical it’s well put out and understandable. The step by step and then coming around and refining the movements just over all an amazing gym 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Gulf Coast grappling academy is the best jiu-jitsu gym I have ever been to. Coach Wes is so knowledgeable, passionate and patient. These qualities make him a phenomal teacher. The quality of the training is superior to anywhere else I've been. Not only are the owners lovely, but so is everyone else that goes there. It's a great community. I am so happy I found this place!
