Dropped in at the open mat after seeing it online and was delighted to find this gem of an academy right in PC. Not only is the mat space HUGE, but the people there were all lovely. The vibes were great and I was made to feel like I was right at my own home gym. I would recommend this gym to anybody looking to get some high level training in, but also for people just getting into the sport. They had a decent mix of lower and high level guys which is a great dynamic for people who are new to self defense!! 10/10
Danny is the man! A true professional with a beautiful style of teaching and really high level grappling skills. Huge gym, lots of mat space, everybody is super friendly.
After dropping in at Alliance Jiu Jitsu of PCB two years ago when it was under Rilion Gracie, I became Facebook friends with the new head coach Danny! So, when my family decided to travel to PCB again for vacation, I knew I had to drop in! Everyone was extremely welcoming and the drills at the beginning of class were taught in such a way that made it easy to comprehend! After drilling, I was able to get rolls in with most of the other class members and they all displayed great technical depth! I also got to roll with Danny which was very humbling, but also so much fun. I highly recommend training at Alliance Jiu Jitsu of PCB whether you’re a local or just on vacation and want to train! You won’t regret it!

Known the owner Jason since I was a kid. Always has the best interest of everyone around him in mind, even when it causes him extra work. Unlike many other gyms, everyone here is super kind and welcoming. No one has an inflated ego and always willing to help. Whether you are a a kid, young adult, male or female, I cannot recommend this place enough. Jason is the best and having instructors like Danny, Chris, John and Kevin make it a great experience. This gym accommodates for everyone. There’s classes spread out throughout the entire day from morning to the evening to allow time for everyone to train. Great atmosphere and great coaches.
Absolute top notch instruction with a welcoming family vibe. We do both kids and adult classes because we love the gym so much. My son would watch the adult classes and the folks in the class would interact/play with him. This sparked his interest in trying jiu jitsu and he’s loved it ever since. Trained here a while ago during a beach trip with my family, so this is a long overdue review. Very welcoming environment, I trained and felt right at home. Anytime I'm in the Panama City or PCB area this is where I go to train.
Coach Danny does a great job keeping up with the modern jiu jitsu meta and teaches the most effective techniques. He is also a great teacher and gives all of his students 1 on 1 attention to make sure they are progressing. I highly recommend learning from him if you have the opportunity!

By far the best and biggest Jiu-Jitsu gym in bay county. A very family friendly, ego-free place to train whether it’s for yourself or your kids. There’s multiple programs offered and anyone of any background or fitness level is welcome. I love training here for the level of teaching you receive is second to none and the community that has been built within is so friendly, supportive, and welcoming. The gym has only improved since I’ve began training here and the owner and coach is very invested in making this a place for everyone to love and feel safe and welcome in. You won’t regret coming and training here.

I only visited here for one training session while I was in town, but based on that experience I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a place to train. Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere and some good tough rolls made for a great experience! Will definitely try to stop back in if I'm in the area again.
Very awesome gym! We dropped in while on vacation. I have a 8 year old and 7 year old that attended kids class and they were asking to come back next time we visit.....very good instruction as well!!!
I have been practicing Jiu-Jitsu for appox 4 years in total. I've been to the big name gyms. This place competes in both technique and ferocity. If you're looking for hard rolls you'll find it. I vacation in Panama City often. This gym has quickly become my home gym away from home.

Was traveling through Panama City on a Sunday and looked up jiu-jitsu in the area. I called and unfortunately they were closed. But the owner made a few phone calls and got a decent crew to come up and get some rolls in. Will definitely be coming by again the next time I’m in the area.

My kids and I have been going here for 7 months and it has been nothing but a great experience. Jason is really big about leaving your ego at the door. It creates a safer learning environment. You don’t have to worry about a more advanced belt taking advantage of new students. The instructors and more advanced students really enjoy helping the new students with basic fundamentals, techniques and watching them grow as they spend more time on the mats. I was on vacation with the family in Panama City but I needed to keep my training, thank goodness I found Rilion Gracie jiu jitsu.,they offer early morning class and I could train and be back home before the family even new I was gone. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Great instructors..

I can't say enough good things about Rilion Gracie Academy of Panama City. The thing that sets them apart is they make you feel welcome and important. Jason and the entire staff are like family. This is the place to go if you truly want to learn BJJ. My boy Ryker will never go anywhere else.

Our experiences with Rilion Gracie BJJ Panama City are second to none. It’s not easy to find a business that provides excellent service but this one delivers and then some. For starters they don’t only provide your BJJ classes for all ages , but they offer an array of classes to suit everyone’s needs. The early morning classes gives you a chance to get a workout before you head on to work. My favorite class right now (not really but I need it) Cardio gets your heart pumping and you have a personal Coach standing by you coaching you through it. There’s weight lifting to tone up the old saggy muscles (haha), and on top of that, there’s an amazing after school program that picks your child up from school and brings them back to the gym safely. Kids are supervised at all times. Kids get a chance to do their homework, play, and participate in BJJ classes. In my opinion, you can’t get better services. The Reynolds family are an in sync team and run this place very effectively. We’ll be heartbroken when is time to move though, we enjoy coming to the gym for classes and love interacting with the family, they’re heartwarming caring folks that open their doors and hearts to every patron. Come check them out! You won’t be disappointed...
We started our son here two years ago. Our son and our family has absolutely fell in love with this place! They have really helped given our son a positive way to be active. He has made a ton of friends and loves Coach Jason and all the staff! I have joined the adult program and thoroughly enjoy it! I usually join a gym and leave within a month because I feel I don’t belong or unmotivated. I look forward to my classes! I love seeing the kids and everyone there! They have become an extended family to us!
This is what to expect. You show up, you wear your gi, you tie your belt wrong (no one calls you out) you run around in a circle and hope no one can hear you try and stifle your heavy breathing. You do some crawly stuff on the ground. 5 to 10 min tops. What happens next you ask? Well I'll tell ya. You sit in a circle around one of the upper belts who are instructing (wes/jason/john etc). Then you work technique for the next 45 min boom class over line up bow out now the next class begins. Typically rolls. Now this has been my experience for the past 2 months for the 6-7pm thur,fri,sat classes. Everyone is very nice....its like olive garden but with out the breadsticks....I mean there is a pretty badass bread cutter but we wont go into that rn. Anyways when you're here you're family. But like a family you actually want to be around lol
I could write a million wonderful things about this place. The instructors , the classes, the little Jiu jitsu kiddos are all amazing. My daughter loves this place and the people. I finally stepped out of my comfort zone a few weeks ago and joined them on the mats, and I must say, it's one of the best decisions I have ever made! Come join us! Any Age, Male or Female, we will be waiting!

One of the best decisions I've ever made was signing up at Gracie Elite Lynn Haven . Not only are Jason and Wes great and friendly people, they're essentially jiu jitsu encyclopedias, none have been as informative and inviting as Gracie Elite Lynn Haven. The environment that they have created is second to none and feels like a giant family. Whether you have never trained and are looking to start or have experience and are looking for a different school, you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by not at least checking it out.
My son has been training BJJ for eight years. We were a military family and we have been to many gyms. This is our second home. Excellent instruction and very family friendly. If you go anywhere else in Panama City you're doing yourself/your children a disservice. Come check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely LOVE it here! My daughter is 7 and she is eager and ready to go everyday. They are so good with the kids, very encouraging! They keep it fun while still learning. This gym has gone above and beyond for us and we couldn't be happier!
I take my nephew to Rilion Gracie in Lynn Haven and here recently my 21 month old daughter has started mimicking the moves so the gym owner bought her a GI and at no charge has been letting her participate in class (which she does for about 20 minutes lol). Love the instructors and the time they take to make sure every kid is getting something out of the class.
They also have cardio kickboxing and this is my 3rd week attending. I wasn’t sure I could do it much less enjoy it but I have to admit it is definitely a workout and you leave exhausted but I LOVE it! Thanks Coach Jose for the push and the motivation!
The guys up at this gym are stellar at what they do. Useful that they live nearby where we moved to in the Panama City area. My older kid has something to do three nights a week after school. The rates are better than other places we called in the area, and the trainer she has, Jose, is a pretty down to earth guy, and he's knowledgeable. If you're looking for a brazilian jiu jitsu instructor or even just karate or martial arts, I'd recommend giving these guys a call. They're in Lynn Haven, near the 77/390 intersection. Very close and central to where we live!
The kids had fun but it was hot inside. Needed to turn ac on sooner . All the blow ups were neat for the kids and the place to have the party was nice.
After having a membership for almost a year and going to this gym everyday twice a day, I wanted to visit after moving away to college. After being greeted by the amazing lady at the front desk. I went to Jason to say hi, he knew who I was but wouldn’t even shake my hand. I then went to roll with some of my old buddies before the class started, afterwards I sat out of the learning activity for the day expecting nothing of it and planning on just rolling/sparring for the day, Danny walked over to me on the bench and said “are you gonna join in?” And after telling him I was only here to roll he said “we don’t play like that, you can either join or leave.” I then grabbed my things and left, $30 later. Couldn’t recommend this place less, go to Emerald Coast Jiu Jitsu instead.
I called about women's self defense classes and never received a call back. it's been over three months. The first time I called, they said they were getting a class together and would be calling people who were interested once it became finalized. never got that call. I called back a couple weeks later and another lady, who said she was the instructor, said the classes would start in a month and they were switching locations but they would definitely call me back/email me. It's been over 2 months and not even a call or follow up. Guess you don't want the business?
