Amazing BJJ gym. Tson and his team of coaches create such a fun environment for BJJ enthusiasts, families, and beginners to learn and train. The community is lovely and are incredibly welcoming to beginners, BJJ practitioners new to TBay, and practitioners passing through!
Honestly the worst place to go if you want to be lazy. Filled with kind people that will do nothing but motivate you. Such an awful place if you don't want to improve yourself as a person. But if you wanna change your attitude and get in shape? There's no where else like it in the city.
While passing through Thunder Bay, I stopped by for a training session. I'd like to thank the coach for the warm welcome. The academy is very clean, the instruction is excellent, and I had the opportunity to get in several great rounds of sparring. Thank you!!
I love the atmosphere. Tson encourages family participation and is great with kids. He has awesome coaches and members who are all very welcoming and encouraging to new comers. I love attending class either on my own or with my son. I highly recommend the women’s only class

TSon is a great instructor. His classes are well thought out, organized and developed with a vision for each student’s growth in BJJ. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly for all students, visitors and beginners. Awesome place to develop new skills!
Tson is a great instructor and very passionate about passing on his jiu-jitsu knowledge to new and experienced students. His classes are a mix of white and upper belts who all provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Tson is always willing to answer questions about a technique or BJJ in general, during and after the class. I would highly recommend BJJFourLife if you are beginning or continuing your BJJ journey.
Tson is a great instructor who finds innovative and creative methods to helping his students adopt new skills, and eventually find their own tactics and strategies.
