Dropped in for an open mat with their BJJ team, Iron Jiu Jitsu. Couldn't have had a better experience. They're easy to find and the quality of instruction was excellent. I got to roll with Professor Jeff and a few of the students and their skill level was great. Professor Jeff truly cares about his students development not just in skill but as human beings, evidenced by a young blue belt Nola who I had the pleasure of working with as well. The facility is large enough for multiple groups to be rolling simultaneously as well. The school was also very clean. Highly recommend anyone traveling hobbyist or competitors traveling through or interested in BJJ contact the school and schedule a class (which I think can be done on their website as well.) Thank you Iron Jiu Jitsu for a wonderful experience! Oss! 🙏🥋💪

I came into sensai Jeff’s gym as someone who’s never practiced BJJ. I had several years of Judo experience and wanted to further develop and round out my grappling game. Jeff, his assistant instructors, and his students have all been very welcoming allowing me to become part of the club. Not just BJJ but the social aspects of becoming a club member. Sensai Jeff even allowed a judo instructor of mine start to teach his students Judo. This is a great club with friendly people and a great place to develop skills as a all around grappler from take downs to submissions

My son (10y) and I have been training here for almost 4 yrs now. Great atmosphere and welcoming training partners. Jeff is a top level instructor who allows you to learn at your own pace. My jiu-jitsu and health and fitness have improved so much, so happy I found this place!

Jeff is very responsive whenever you have an inquiry. This is definitely a great place for beginners or advanced skill levels. The head instructor, Jeff, is very knowledgeable in the art and a very humble guy. He's very patient and easy to talk to and I love the way he works with kids in the youth classes, too. BJJ X YOGA is a 5-star experience all around. Signing up was the best decision I've made in a long time.

BJJ X Yoga Studio is a welcome addition to the Pilsen neighborhood. I've been practicing BJJ consistently for 8 years and yoga on and off for 15 years. Working in a small group environment Jeff and Deanna's were able to balance both beginner-level instruction and higher level details for the range of students. Both are very friendly and knowledgeable instructors and together they have built a welcoming and unique environment.
