I’m not sure people in South Florida understand what a legend Sensei Barbosa is in this sport. This guy LITERALLY beat Royler Gracie one of the original core member's of the Gracie family of whom invented the martial art and the way it’s practiced. I’ve had multiple training sessions with him and my improvement sky rocketed. This guy is so legit that he trains the highest level athletes you see in all these major tournaments. This school is a gem for those that truly wish to excel and train in the art of Brazilian jiu jitsu. Do your self a favor and take a class here. You truly won’t regret it.
I’ve been training at B9 for 6 months already, and it’s been a fantastic experience! The instructors are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, making it a great place for both beginners and advanced practitioners. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with a solid class schedule that covers all skill levels. Overall, I highly recommend B9 bjj for anyone looking to learn BJJ in a welcoming environment!
A experiência na academia foi incrível! Fui muito bem recebido, e a dedicação dos instrutores é evidente. Agradeço pela oportunidade e pela hospitalidade de todos. Com certeza voltarei! “My experience at the academy was amazing! I was very well received, and the dedication of the instructors is clear. Thank you for the opportunity and the hospitality from everyone. I will definitely be back!
As a novice in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), my initial foray into this martial art has been nothing short of enlightening. The studio, impeccably maintained, offers a welcoming environment that fosters learning and camaraderie. My fellow students are exceptionally courteous and inclusive, making the transition smoother for newcomers like myself. The master instructor's dedication to individualized instruction is commendable. They patiently guide each student through fundamental techniques, ensuring a solid grasp of essential moves like the closed guard and side control. With a background in Taekwondo, where striking is paramount, adapting to the grappling-centric nature of BJJ presents a refreshing challenge. Embracing a discipline that eschews kicks and punches in favor of strategic ground maneuvers demands a shift in mindset. Despite the learning curve, the journey is exhilarating, promising years of growth and self-discipline. Discovering BJJ has opened a new chapter in my martial arts journey, one filled with excitement and endless potential.

My son loves his lessons here as he has been given a lot of individual instruction when learning new moves.
I would like to say how pleased and happy I am to have added my daughter to the B9 USA Jiu Jitsu class. The teachers are spectacular.
After been in other martial art academics I can definitely say B9 is the best of all. Master Barbosa and his partner and instructor have the expertise to teach jiu jitsu and much more very well. Discipline and professionalism among others are the main qualities in B9. I will definitely recommend B9 to kids and adults to join and learn discipline, respect and beyond.
