By far the best place for real jujutsu and striking. Every single coach is personally invested in the children or adults that go there, but they do not make it easy. This is not a participation trophy gym this is where you go to learn to discipline it takes to stick it out and earn what you want if you want the best you come here if you wanna challenge yourself, this is the place to be

Baga and his crew runs an amazing outfit. The kids classes are fantastic and the adult instruction is top notch. The instructors get down on the mat with you to explain exactly what you need to grow as a student. If you want your kids to learn self discipline and confidence, there's no better place! Reasonable rates and plenty of mini camps when school is out of session. The instructors and staff make you feel at home. Beginners are welcome, of course. We all take care of new folks and train them up so we can all learn together. I've been a member for about four years now. I couldn't be happier. You will be very satisfied here.

I have been a member here for two years, and I remained here because the instructors are top notch, and the management is fantastic. They are an amazing part of our community and I highly recommend anyone try at least their no-strings-attached one week free trial. You will have a great experience. They are beginner friendly and train at all levels of experience.

Great gym! My son and I have been members for almost two years, he does classes 6 days a week. The coaches are great and everyone is very respectful. I have also done 2 birthday parties for my son there and he has loved them both times, if you’re looking for a place for you or your kids this is the place! Great family atmosphere!

If you are an overbearing parent, this place is not for you. If you like participation trophies, this place is not for you. If you like coddling this is not the place for you. If you know everything this is not the place for you. Who is this place for? This American top team location is for adults and kids who want to learn. This location is for parents who want to see their children grow in skill, maturity, sportsmanship and resilience. This is for those who can let the “pros do what the pros do”. This is for those who can dedicate themselves to showing up, practicing and working hard. My son is tired when he is done, sweating when he is done and occasionally bleeding when he is done. He LOVES coming and his growth has been amazing to watch. If an individual can listen, watch, put in the time and work hard this is definitely the place for them. Highly recommended!

My kids have been going here for more than 5 years, and I have never had problems before. Instead, they treat all of us like family. Starting from Baga and Pricilla, all of the Instructors, and Ms. Lana, they all have helped influence my children to be good kids.

Great facility for martial arts classes, aftercare and summer camp. My son started with their aftercare program which picks him up directly at his school. Lana is so attentive and caring of my son and all others in her care. He loved the program and coaches so much that we enrolled him in the afternoon classes. He also attended summer camp and continues to enjoy his time at American top team. Not only has he learned so much in his martial arts classes but he has become so much more independent and well rounded thanks to the coaches and staff. We really enjoy being part of the American top team and recommend this place to any families looking for after school programs, summer camps or martial arts classes.

American Top Team Davie has been heaven sent! We were looking for an athletic activity our children would enjoy while reinforcing values like hard work, respect, and discipline. We were not disappointed. The coaches and staff are patient, kind, and consistent. Over the last year our 3 children have attend classes 4-6 times a week, camps, and the after school program. If you are looking for a place that builds character while learning martial arts, in a fun environment, look no further!

This is a high quality gym with even higher quality coaches. These coaches have professional experience they’ll get you the next level and fast! When I first started I really felt the love from the coaches and the atmosphere of the other people in the gym. With their top of the line training I was able to win my first jiu jitsu match in just a couple months. This gym shows what martial arts is really about and everyone is there for each other it’s like a family at this gym. The coaches show up to all their fighters evens no matter where it is they will drive hours just for you!! Really recommend this gym

I have now been in the game of jiu-jitsu since 2009. The place I landed was American Top Team DAVIE. I have been there since white belt and now a black belt under professor Baga. Having visited other gyms I can honestly say this group has become my extended family. The energy in the gym is what makes you stronger and more confident in your own abilities. I have experienced it fist hand myself AND I have seen others grow in their own journey. I would recommend ATT Davie anytime.

I am a seasoned BJJ practitioner and I have recently relocated to Broward County. After trying few gyms in the area I decided to settle and bring my 2 kids (5 and 9) to American Top Team Davie. I have trained in many gyms before and I find ATT Davie to have the best atmosphere of any of the gyms I have been part of. Great coaches, personal approach, no ego! My kids love their program and the kids coaching is unparalleled to any other I have seen. They learn and have fun at the same time. I recommend ATT Davie to any parent or bjj practitioner in the area! A+++

Since my first day training here under Baga, I have felt more welcome than I’ve felt in any other sport under any other coach. There are so many incredible people here that push me and motivate me on a daily basis to be better. I’ve been here over a year now, and I wouldn’t trade my training here or the people I’ve had the opportunity to learn from for anything in the world, and I wholeheartedly believe Jiu Jitsu has made me a better person. I've been training at this American Top Team location for about 7 months now and the one thing this gym has that many others lack is the kindness and respect everyone gives to each other. I haven't had a single bad experience in my time training here. The instructors John and Baga are some of the most skilled fighters I've rolled with and their instruction is second to none. If you're looking for a gym to start your jiujitsu journey or improve your existing game, I highly recommend American Top Team Davie.

My oldest son (4 y/o) started training a little over a year ago and has developed such discipline, respect and confidence. We recently signed up our youngest (3 y/o) and he is adapting very quickly as well. The trainers are patient but stern and are very hands on. TJ takes a special interest in making sure the kids develop the skills needed to succeed but gives each child a personalized experience. My kids love going to “ninja” school and take pride in the skills they learn. I would give more than five stars if possible. All the trainers are friendly, knowledgeable and invested in the kids. I highly recommend!

The most nurturing and quality educational environment for martial arts. I took my son here figuring I would be disappointed as I have been when looking into any of these martial arts type studios. I'm sure there are other good ones I just couldn't find any. This one however stands out both in terms of the quality of their instruction and for the nurturing and genuine way that they treat the kids. I stay for every class my son attends. I see every one of the coaches, interacting, talking and engaging in as good and productive a way as one could hope. As for the instruction, it is fascinating to watch and even more fascinating to see my son develop and improve and to see the same of younger (and older) kids as well. I could not recommend this place in stronger terms

Not only are they exceptional at what they do, they truly care about the kids. There is so much one on one work, and often 6-7 instructors working with the class to ensure all the children are getting ample attention. This place offers training at all levels in one class cuz the coach/students ratio is really high. All higher belt people are so kind and helpful to beginners like me. All instructions are so precise and coaches try to make sure I get the each move in right way. Especially if u are a beginner try morning classes cuz u get more attention than evening classes yet evening classes are usually longer and more people to roll with. Everyone is so welcoming and I feel like they are my family already. Highly recommended. 👍

This gym is basically my families second home! It is an amazing place to train. Awesome instructors (Baga, Junior, Christian, Priscilla, TJ, Anthony, Mauricio, Johnathon), Staff, Classes, and a Family atmosphere. You feel part of a family in and out the gym!! My kids train Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. They are also on the competition team, they have competed in many competitions. My wife trains Cardio Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA Cardio. I train Jiu Jitsu and just competed in my first competition. We are learning on a daily basis and have fun while doing it. This gym offers so much from classes. To parents night out (kids having fun for the night) while parents get there time. Many celebrations, whether it is a BBQ or a holiday event. We have grown as a family being part of this gym, because of a healthier lifestyle, becoming mental strong, and having amazing support around you at all times. I would recommend this gym to everyone I know and would recommend to anyone thinking of trying it out!

If 0 starts was an option, believe me I would pick that. My niece went to this school and was unfairly kicked out. The administration, who not only has poor communication skills, but are also grossly unprofessional, did not even deem it necessary to at least let her parents know what the issue was until the day they kicked her out. The excuse they’re using now is due to tardiness’s which again, was never addressed to her parents or her coaches. My niece has done nothing but excel, practice really hard, which has lead her win gold medals at her competitions, and this is how they repair her? Sad and shameful. Thankfully my niece is surrounded by supportive and strong individuals who will make sure we provide her the opportunities that she deserves, unlike this school. If you want your child to be uplifted and supported and not kicked down, please do not choose this school. In regards to the response their team has given, it truly saddens me that a company that deals with children have gone through these lengths to spread lies. We all know that you have never once given notice to the father ever. we completely understand your rules every location has rules, but why were they asked to renew a week before and then all of the sudden they went to pay and were denied. It’s okay she will succeed at a school that appreciates her skills and strength.

Paid for a year to train there, but was too busy to go after the birth of my twins. After canceling my membership I had the itch to train. I went in to train and offered to pay a mat fee of $30 or even $40 to train there for the day. Lady at the desk denied me, called Bagga and asked him, he also said no. I was very polite, and still got shot down. Not cool
