Our entire family attends classes at Awesome Sports and Camps!! My daughter (she’s 6) absolutely loves her Jiu jitsu class! She’s learning invaluable life skills and self defense techniques but the classes are structured in a way that makes it fun for her every week. We love the instructors / coaches for both the kid and adult classes. Questions are always welcome, and you will often see the owner instructing classes. PS - Their Parents Night Out events are amazing!!

Awesome Martial Arts Academy is Amazing! We were looking for a great place after moving from California and we found it. Mr Haynes and his staff are great! They really make you feel welcomed confortable and explain everything! The instructors are great with the kids, very knowledgeable, passionate and patient. My daughter began a few months ago and has shown more confidence and is excited to go and train! I will also begin training soon as Parents get to train for FREE! You can't beat that! The whole staff is amazing with the kids. Coach Ken and Coach Sara is amazing with my son! Coach Ken is the reason we did taekwondo in the first place! It has helped my son build confidence. I have 3 kids that train at awesome, and they enjoy being a part of the classes. My kids have made friends here that they look forward to seeing. I joined them in training since parents train free, and I, too, have made friends there. It's a really great place to train.

This place has been AMAZING for my son! He had a great time when he was in after school camp and the summer camp was such a wonderful experience for him when he was in it too! We now attend evening classes. All of the coaches are patient and helpful! Everyone here is like family! We are not just students in the same classes but family learning together! I really appreciate these coaches and their patience with my family

My son has been going to taekwondo classes for a couple months now. It all started with invite from one of his friends to come on bring a buddy night. He absolutely loves it! I love that he's learning new skills in addition reinforcing things respect and integrity to name a few. Coach Jackson is wonderful with all the students. He commands respect from the students but makes the classes fun while doing it. My son has adhd and traditional sports just weren't a good fit for him. Martial arts has been an excellent fit for him and looks forwards to going to every class!

My kiddos joined on a special for 4 weeks free as a trial period. Both my sons took to it a little slow at first but we are about 3 months in and they love it. The instructors are great and the staff (Brandy) is the absolute BEST! Highly recommended!

My four year old started two weeks and has been having a great experience so far. The instructors have all been very kind, extremely patient, and make it so fun for the kids. After three classes, staff already remembers his name and you are greeted like they are so happy for you to be there. The facility is extremely well maintained, clean, and organized. My 15 year old has been attending classes here for the past 9 years. He is visually impaired, so this was the only sport in which he was able to participate. He has loved it from the very beginning. I believe that Mr. Haynes', along with the other instructors, attitude and willingness to work with my son has made all the difference. I have to say I spent alot of time here when I was younger. My family at that time was going through some hard times and when most people my age even close friends were partying and getting involved in badder things, i was here as much as I could be learning respect not just for others but self respect, disciple and perseverance as well. Mr. Haynes challenged me to push myslef harder than I ever had and not only meet but exceed goals. I still remember when I earned my instructor stripe and everybody came up and hugged me some even with tears of pride in me after everything Id been through. I began taking taekwondo in the louisville location but felt the drive across the bridge was more than worth it once Mr. Haynes opened up the Clarksville location. I owe in big part who I am today to Mr. Haynes and the instructor team. Him and his awesome wife and teammates became more like family than just a training facility, and consider myself blessed to have them. :-)

I highly recommend this place for tkd or jiu jitsu for kids and adults. My daughter took Tkd there for over 2 years and loved it. My wife got to train free and does the jiu jitsu classes and loves them as well. It really helped my daughter with her confidence and self-esteem. They also offer many seminars, tournaments, fun events and fund-raising opportunities to help the community and make friends in the process. My daughter felt a sense of empowerment by actually breaking boards with her hands and feet. They are very easy to work with and care about each person individually. ALSO - the big plus here is that there are classes offered 6 days a week at varying times and you can come to as many as you like - you are not set to a specific time each week. This works great for busy families.

My teenage daughter joined last December after suffering from low self esteem, bad choices in friends, and being bullied. Things had gotten so bad that her father and I had pulled her from school to get her away from all of the negative influences in her life. After driving past Brad Haynes Martial Arts several times, it occurred to me that this may be what she needed to have a positive focus and environment in her life. These people and this facility have been a major part of a huge change in her for the better. Family and friends have all noticed this positive energy she now demonstrates and I am always quick to tell them it is due to this facility. We love our TKD family!! My two sons and I have been attending for over 3 years. This is great a structure for discipline, respect for yourself and others, self-confidence, strength, all around fitness and balance. They have so much to offer for everyone in the family. I would totally in courage anyone who is considering martial arts to give this school a try. They offer a 2 week trial membership. Classes are staggered during the week so there will always be classes to fit your schedule and there is even Saturday family class.

We have attended BHMA for a little over two years now and it has been an amazing experience from which we have received so much. My oldest son has Right Hemiparetic Cerebral Palsy and Tae Kwon Do has served as a fantastic form of physical therapy, helping him with balance and flexibility. Adults train free with paid membership for their children, so my husband and I began classes as well. We have made many wonderful friendships and are getting physical activity in the process. Haynes TKD should be your choice if you are looking for a Martial Arts school in Louisville or Southern Indiana. What a great group of teachers and students. Mr Haynes has it together and teaches in a way that keeps you involved and coming back. I've heard parents rave about new respect from their children, improved performance in school, and all around happier natures. I understand this because I see it in myself. I had my 3 1/2 year old here for a few months and he loved it till he got burned out a little and wanted to stop coming. The instructors here are great, my sons favorites were Mr. Jackson and Miss Holiday. A little pricey for any child under 5 since they can't really participate in any of the events and activities. 30 Minutes of stretching running in circles and a few punch and kick drills, great if your getting what u need out of the classes like confidence and self control. I will say my only complaint was when I decided to stop coming for a while and cancel my subscription. I found out about a 2 month cancelation process where for some reason I have to keep paying 2 months after I stop coming. A little disappointing to pay another 250 dollars for something I am not using after all the money I sank into my 3 year old being here already. Overall good place for the kiddos I plan on going back.

I was travelling to Louisville on business and wanted to get in a workout while I was away from my home studio in Colorado. The staff here were friendly and accommodating. It was definitely a family friendly atmosphere with a clean and well cared for facility. It's obvious the staff and students take pride in the school and the art they study. A special thank you to Mr. Stuart and Ken (of the BJJ class) for making a stranger feel welcome in their classes. If I find myself in Louisville again, I will definitely return for another workout. :-)

Other martial arts schools do their testing in class and do not charge extra and make you come in at a special, extra time for testing. When I asked what class would be prepare my child to protect herself, the person on the phone said they were all good. Turns out, not so much. Small circle jujitsu is the best for basic self defense, but they don't offer that. They entice the kids with extra programs that cost at least $50 each and I feel bad when I have to tell her no and she's disappointed. I need a place focused on the basics. Brad Haynes is nice, but shop around first.

Clarksville location! As far as the classes go they are awesome! Miss Holiday is the 🐐 goat! She is truly the best instructor there! As for the office.. the lady that runs the phones payments is RUDE. Sooo Rude! I can not stress how rude this lady is! Just for no reason! All the parents talk about how rude she is to them and the children. It’s ridiculous to have someone like this working with children! She needs to be replaced ASAP! Unfortunately they SUCK also at communicating. You never know when anything is coming up,when they will be closed(until last minute) it was more of a hassle than not. We stopped going 4 months ago and for some reason we are still being charged! I had to call again today for the 3rd time to get a refund! 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s ridiculous

I canceled my membership months ago and the theifs keeps charging me. I was told three months ago that wouldn't be charged anymore. Every month they charge me and I call and they say this will be your last charge. Well guess what, they charged me again. They never answer the phone. Guess I have to get a lawyer
