I trained at Atos Miami for one year when I lived in the area. Leo is a top-notch technical instructor and does a great job instilling a sense of family and teamwork with all members and guests. The academy itself is a work of art, extremely clean with excellent fixtures and amenities, probably the best I've ever trained at. You won't be disappointed coming here -- your jiu jitsu will get better and you will make many friends.
I have 2 kids and bought training there, I’m a 5 degree Black belt from master Sergio “Bolao” Souza and consequently I have clinic eyes to where I will put my kids to training, Leo D’Avila is an amazing person and professional, I really recommend Atos Miami for all ages, one of the best schools in town

I dropped in while visiting miami. Great morning Gi class with solid fundamentals. Very clean gym with showers available. Plenty of talented people to train including free rolls.
Me and my 6 years old have been training BJJ Gi and No-Gi at Atos for the past 3 months and I love it. Leo D’avila is the owner( he is Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro 4th degree black belt) and is very knowledgeable and courteous. The students are nice which contributes to an ego-free atmosphere at the place. The space is clean with all-white decor and plenty of sunlight. If you are looking for an authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy to start your Jiu Jitsu journey I highly recommend it.
This is an awesome school. The perfect place to get started if you’ve never done BJJ before. Leo and his team will treat you like family from day one, they will be patient, accommodating, and most importantly, make a friend out of you, not a customer.
Only thing I regret is not checking them out sooner!

Me encanta esta escuela. Los instructores super amables y atentos , las instalaciones limpias y cómodas, puedes ver a tus hijos entrenar e incluso grabarlos mientras estan entrenando, varios maestros acompañan al coach en su clase con los niños. Lo que lo hace mas supervisado, seguro y efectivo. Ademas, puedes traer a tu hijo a que practique por una semana gratis para ver si le gusta el jiu-jitsu. Y si se decide le pueden prestar el kimono mientras lo compras. Es muy agradable estar aca mientras transcurre la clase y simultáneamente haces nuevos amigos.
Been here for 3 plus years now and I haven’t stopped coming. I love the people, the training, and the facility is very clean and safe. I recommend to all BJJ practitioners and those new to the sport.
When I moved to Miami I went to have one class to see how it was the environment, if it was clean and how people were. I loved the place! It's everything organized and really clean. The owner is nice and explains all you need to know for starting in jiu-jitsu! They have a lot of different kind of classes for adults and also separate classes for children according to the ages. They have classes for beginners, self-defense, women's classes, also specific classes for competitors. The teammates were so friendly and receptive.
If you're looking for a place that could be an extension of your house and has a family environment, ATOS Miami, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the right place!
What I find most important in a gym is the good environment for the family practice. Atos Miami is not only very good at providing good Jiu-Jitsu, but is also perfect in providing a harmonious environment for the whole family! Congratulations to the organizers!

Family friendly environment. Very nice and clean. Professor Leo and Professor Sacramento are very nice people, very humble and you will definitely learn self defense and Jujitsu with them. Glad to be part of the ATOS family.
Great family environment. I wanted a place where my wife would feel safe and comfortable training with me and other people. Atos is simply the best place to train Jiujitsu in Miami. Amazing professors, great camaraderie and the place is always clean! Can’t ask for more.

Best bjj school in south florida period! The atmosphere is very friendly and respectful. If you want to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu you have to check out Atos Miami which is Clean and organized. I have joined the team in September and I am very happy that I did.
Great experience, I traveled from Honduras and spent a week training at Atos, let me tell you they would make you feel like home, thanks professor Leo for the great techniques and training.
Beautiful modern gym and facilities but the real worth comes from Professor Leo and his teachings of a move, its positions, counters and alternatives. His instructions allows you to be more aware of how to fit the techniques into your own moves. Classes are always fresh. Whether its before class, drilling or rolling everyone looks out for each other. The welcoming environment makes it easy to look forward to another class.
