Atlas BJJ is without a doubt a topnotch school. I have trained under all three Professors. Who are all knowledgeable. Professor Aidan Sericola is a friendly and knowledgeable Professor and definitely worth trying a class with if you have the opportunity.

I have been training with Aidan and Atlas for almost 8 years. Through Jiu Jitsu I have learned true confidence, friendship, strength and capability. I would not be where I am today without Atlas. I am eternally grateful for joining the team!

Got a membership to Atlas about a month and a half ago after trying out the free class trail. This place is the first place I have ever trained BJJ and they are very beginner friendly from the coach all the way to the team. The thing that I like the most at Atlas is the atmosphere is great, friendly, and competitive. Aiden who is the coach gives really great tips and tricks on every move he shows the class, as well as demonstrating the move multiple times in slowing down the technique so you can understand how to perform the move correctly. The team is also very friendly and helpful in performing these moves especially if you are stuck on something you will get assisted in the correct way it should be done. Overall the experience has been great and I would recommend Atlas to anyone looking for a place to train in Waltham.

I got a membership just last month and so far it has been great. The thing I like the most is the partnership and how friendly people are, if I get stuck with something, it is not long before someone comes and helps out with the technique. Aiden is very supportive when teaching techniques too, explaining detail by detail and stopping to clear out any confusion. The experience overall has been great and I recommend to any other person looking for a Jiujitsu academy here in Waltham

I signed my 4 year old son up for jiu jitsu about 2 months ago after his one trial class. We are so happy with the class, it incorporates both discipline and fun. My son actually looks forward to going and enjoys every second he is there. I have also noticed a boost in his confidence since starting the program. Thank you Aidan and the other coaches for being so patient and good with the littles! We love it!

Aidan is an incredible coach, instructor and mentor. It's extremely noticeable how deeply he cares for his students success and is willing to work with everybody no matter their goals and experience. The gym is extremely clean and is filled with a great group of training partners.

The kickboxing classes at Atlas are outstanding! They are designed for all levels of skill (I am a beginner, but many attending the classes are more advanced) and everyone is very friendly and willing to help. The coaches Aidan (jiu jitsu) and Red (kickboxing) are both patient, kind and overall fantastic teachers. I highly recommend if you are looking for a fun way to get exercise every week or if you are looking to train MMA.

I've been training at Atlas Jiu Jitsu under Coach Aidan Sericolo, and it's been an incredible experience. The gym has a professional and welcoming atmosphere, with detailed instruction that benefits both beginners and experienced students. Coach Aidan does a great job fostering both a strong learning environment and a supportive community. Every class I've attended has been engaging, well-structured, and a vigorous workout. Highly recommend for anyone looking to train in BJJ!

As a striker I was afraid to get into grappling, however, after a little over a month here at Atlas, there is no place I’d rather be. The coach, Aidan, is amazing and super helpful as you navigate new techniques. Everyone there is so welcoming and enthusiastic. I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Updating my review because this place is just so awesome. Coach Aidan has built up an amazing team in just a year- proof of his skill as an athlete and instructor. Did a team competition where everyone showed up and showed out. Check out these belts and medals!

I've trained with Aiden for a long time and I gotta say he is a great grappler and martial artist. His knowledge of the sport, athleticism, and mindset are phenomenal. I still use the mount escape he made me learn a few years ago and I swear it works every time. There's that and he's just super down to earth and a cool dude to talk to and hang with. Also, I think he's still making popular insta vids.

Atlas Jiujitsu Waltham is a great academy! It’s welcoming for all ages and abilities and offers a wonderful, structured curriculum guided by it’s owner, Aidan Sericolo. The space is clean and centrally located and the academy provides a safe and inclusive place to train. Really awesome kids program and is great for beginners or those who enjoy pushing their jujitsu game farther!

I really enjoy the atmosphere here—everyone is friendly regardless of your skill level. Classes are available every day except weekends, with review sessions on Fridays. Most of the trainees are fit young men, so learning BJJ here is incredibly practical, whether for self-defense, fitness, or improving physical conditioning。

I joined Atlas a month and a half ago and already I’m glad I made the change. Aidan is a great instructor. He gets to know all of his students individually and works with everyone wherever they are at in their jiujitsu journey. He closely supervises everyone and gives tips and advice to everyone. You never feel like you showed up and weren’t even noticed, let alone helped. The other students are all very kind and supportive as well, and there isn’t any of that “old boys club” feeling that some other gyms have, which makes me more comfortable training there. I can really tell that Aidan has put a lot of time and effort into creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are trying Brazilian jiujitsu for the first time or looking for a change in your current training, I highly recommend Atlas!

Had a great experience dropping in for both a no-gi and gi class at Atlas Jiu Jitsu in Waltham. The instructor (Aidan) was very welcoming, as were all the students. We worked on knee cut variations and chaining with the X pass, followed by fun and technical positional rounds focusing on guard passing and retention. I could tell Aidan truly cares about his students' development, offering both general technique pointers and personalized tips to improve each person's game throughout class.

This has been an amazing experience for my kids. My daughter is a little on the shy side at times and coach Aidan does an amazing job trying to make her comfortable and get her out of her shell. My son is the opposite and runs right in, but both leave each time raving about their experience. Coach Aidan is patient with the kids, but also has high expectations for the kids (in the best way) which has led to increased discipline for my kids. It has been a great experience for all of us!

As someone who’s brand new to Jiu Jitsu, I couldn’t recommend Atlas more. This gym has a very welcoming atmosphere with all sorts of people of different skill levels, and the coaching staff and gym members alike are very nice and patient. Aiden is a great coach and an awesome guy, he knows just how to coach each person as they need and is clearly an expert at Jiu Jitsu. He can break things down simply for the newcomers and get very technical for the more experienced members when needed. If you’re like me and have considered doing Jiu Jitsu for years, I highly recommend giving a class a try.

They take the time to ensure that each student, regardless of skill level, understands the techniques and principles of jiu jitsu, and emphasize safety and proper technique. I’m so happy I found Atlas, personally finding the right jiu jitsu gym has been extremely tough. It’s always hard to find somewhere to train where you feel comfortable and safe. Atlas is that place. “Atlas is Family”. I’m going on a decade of training BJJ. I have had to move academies a few times because I have moved states multiple times in the past few years. Atlas is one of the best places that I have had the privilege to train at. Super friendly, positive and welcoming environment with top notch instruction and plenty of support to keep you going on this challenging journey of BJJ. Putting all that good stuff aside, a few years ago, I found myself unemployed. And it was through Atlas, that I was able to land a solid job. When I was telling the black belt who helped me land the job how much I appreciated the help, he replied “No need. Atlas is Family”. The BJJ was great. But I will never forget this place because of that moment right there.
