In June, I was visiting Las Vegas and looking for a Jiu-Jitsu school to train at when I found Atlas Grappling. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a great environment for learning and training. The coach was excellent and made the moves easy to understand. I felt very comfortable here and highly recommend Atlas Grappling to anyone visiting Vegas. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this school is top-notch!

I was in town and they allowed me stop in and train. I attended a wrestling class and an open mat. Top tier instructions and more importantly the coaches and fellow students are amazing people. There’s a great vibe at this school, if I lived in Vegas I could totally see myself calling this gym home. Thank you!

Amazing gym! Our family has found fitness, fun, friends, and new family at Atlas. Coaches and members are always ready and happy to help, in and out of the gym. We’ve been coming for years and are so grateful to see and experience the many ways Atlas has helped us grow in love, discipline, teamwork…the list goes on and on. Thanks, AG!

My child(ren) have been training with Atlas for less than a year and I couldn’t be more happy with this establishment. All staff is very approachable and will always look out for the students best interest! I have referred 4 other parents here as well for their kids to join! And I would recommend Atlas Grappling any day!

My four boys have been attending classes at Atlas Grappling for a year now, and the transformation has been incredible. Not only have they developed their grappling skills, but their confidence has skyrocketed. The instructors are dedicated and create a supportive environment that encourages growth and teamwork. Each class is engaging, and I’ve noticed my boys not only improving physically but also gaining valuable life skills. I highly recommend Atlas Grappling for anyone looking to boost their child’s confidence and athletic ability!

My teen joined Atlas a little over a year ago, he truly loves going, everyone was so welcoming and friendly like a big family. He looks forward to going to the classes, coach Damien is truly amazing, they even have a sparring class now on Saturday mornings. The facility is nice and clean, they have a shower there so if you’re needing to freshen up after work before class you can. They also do belt promotions and pot lucks which really helps bring everyone together as a big family. This year they are doing a trunk or treat for the little ones definitely a great place for all ages. The little kiddos are so cute to watch them practice, during the summer they had different camps set up for them as well. We are so thankful we were referred to Atlas.

I've been training at Atlas Grappling for a while now, and it's easily one of the best BJJ gyms in town. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming from day one. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also truly passionate about teaching. They take the time to break down techniques and ensure everyone, from beginners to advanced students, gets the most out of each class. For cross-training, Atlas Grappling also offers Judo, Wrestling, Striking, and Strength and Conditioning. The cleanliness of the facility is also top-notch. The mats are always spotless, and the locker rooms are well-maintained, which is so important when you're training regularly. Overall, Atlas Grappling has built a strong, supportive community that makes you look forward to every session. In the Adult Classes, there is usually a theme for that week. It may be guard retention one week, side control escapes the next week, close guard attacks the next, and so on. I feel like the course curriculum is thoroughly thought out for the year. Whether you're a complete novice, a seasoned practitioner, or a competition beast, this is the place to train!

I had no background in any physical contact sports and found Atlas Grappling after checking out some other gyms in the area. Chose atlas, because they are laid back and everyone was super helpful in learning and now 3 years later I can’t imagine switching gyms. Love this place and the people who go there

The coaches and staff are truly fantastic. Every coach takes their time to help break down technique and any questions you may be pondering about and you can tell they truly care for their students. The staff and even the higher belts are super encouraging and welcoming to newcomers. Great culture and learning atmosphere.

This academy is the perfect place for my daughter, and I searched around. My daughter loves jiu jitsu, competes in tournaments, and goes every day of the week for at least two hours. The place she was training at prior was badly organized and more focused on how many students they had. At Atlas, Damien and the team focus on each student's goals, and teach all aspects of the sport. Their schedule is also superior. They have two classes at 5pm, one for younger kids and one for older kids. At 6 on Mondays and Wednesdays they have an advanced class for the older kids, and on Tuesday and Thursday they have bona-fide Judo classes with a team of judokas. Judo is an amazing sport that augments BJJ, and I wanted my kid to learn it to improve her stand-up game in practice and in tournaments. Whereas the professor at the previous place said "Judo is dead" (tell the Olympics that), Atlas respects both BJJ and Judo, and their instructors are not only super knowledgeable, but know how to get students to go above and beyond. They do monthly or yearly contracts, but honestly it was so obvious this place was THE place, we did the year. If you're considering getting your kids involved in a place that's driven and supportive, do the trial here and you'll likely reach the same conclusion I did: Atlas Grappling is the best.

The culture they've built is fantastic. No egos, very inviting and everyone is supportive. The instructional part of was very informative, as the head coach broke down the technique in a very easy to understand way. He really cares about his students and their goals. The pace was fantastic, and will get you into shape. They do encourage competing, but are not overbearing about it. There are high level guys, too.

I joined Atlas Grappling just over two months ago and my only regret was not walking through the door sooner! I battled some negative thoughts, one was being MUCH older (48) than I was when I had given “Jiu-Jitsu” a brief try WAY BACK in 1994. Being a longtime fan of grappling, I have always had regrets about stopping the journey. Everyone at Atlas Grappling has made this a great experience. From the time I first called in and spoke to Beth Nitkin on the phone, to Charleen at the front desk. Beth Nitkin, who teaches the adult fundamentals classes has a unique gift for teaching, her attention to detail and understanding of the human body really give you a complete understanding of every technique/sequence and the thought process behind it. I look forward to adding onto my schedule with the sessions run by head coach Damien Nitkin. Damien is not only a very accomplished competitive grappler - but his attention to detail and teaching is top notch. He will bring out the best version in you! The Gym itself is amazing, over 5,000 Square feet of space. They offer classes for anyone with little ones to teens! And of course us adults.😊They also offer Judo and Wrestling for those looking to benefit and expand their game. Strength and conditioning is also available! I hope you can experience the benefits of everyone under one roof trying to be better than they were yesterday on and off the mats. Walking through the door is the first step! You won’t be sorry. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special team, I look forward to staying consistent. This has has been a fun and rewarding addition to my day. Truly amazing people/Martial Artists, with a family-friendly environment and a beautiful competitive edge.

An absolute great experience to train jiu jitsu at this gym. I started training here October of 2021 and haven’t stopped since. Owners Damien and Beth make learning both addicting and fun, while breaking down concepts with details to be both efficient and understandable. I would highly recommend Atlas to anyone of any skill level. Just recently the inclusion of additional grappling classes like judo and wrestling have been added as well.

My kid has gone here since it’s grand opening. I have always been impressed with the gym and it’s even more impressive with its growth, expansion, and cleanliness. The staff is super friendly and the coaches are caring and knowledgeable. Coach Damien and Coach Beth put so much into this gym to make it feel welcoming and comfortable to be at, but also motivating to train. I highly recommend this gym for anybody who wants to learn jiu jitsu with proper technique and discipline. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, this is one of the best dojos around.
