We love Atlas Combat! Our kids love Coach Zach and Coach Amber and all the coaches at Atlas. They feel safe and welcome, and they are learning so much about self-defense. Atlas feels like a family.

Atlas has been one of the best finds I have ever come across for my kids, teens, and adults!! I have a boy & girl both in elementary and they both go to Atlas and love it!!! We tried other gyms and we were unimpressed. This family run gym has the best coaches for all ages. We instantly fell in love with them and how amazing they are with all the kids. They keep their gym very clean and make a special effort to get to know everyone who comes to their gym. I could honestly go on and on, but if you have a chance to try them out, I strongly encourage you to do so!!

It's by no accident they have a 5 star, unbreakable streak. This place has so much heart. The coaches are the most genuine, kind, talented, and emotionally mature mentors any kid could ask for. Atlas Combat Sports is the best karate studio we have found in the south part of Salt Lake County. We’ve been here for over a year and very happy with the coaching staff. Zack and Amber are friendly, helpful, and great coaches. The students must earn and are not given their next belts, which is something we have dealt with at other studios. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted years at other places with my boys!

What a great group of people! The facility is nice and the team of coaches are very welcoming. My kiddo is currently in the Krav classes and loves coming each week. The coaches take the time to make each child feel heard and important. Giving equal opportunity for for each child to demonstrate thier skills, provide feedback and take the time to provide individual coaching. 10/10 would reccomend.

Y’all are punkin your dang selves by not joining Atlas Combat Sports. I ain’t gonna gatekeep, this gym hits, HARD. They offer several different programs all under one gym. Their curriculum is highly organized and challenging, yet taught in a way for any skill level to learn and improve. I started with BJJ and recently took up Muay Thai and absolutely love it! All of the coaches are bada$$ and incredibly inviting. The gym culture they’ve created is incredibly welcoming and pushes you to be your best. Highly recommend to anyone interested in moving gyms or just starting out!

I can’t go to any other gym again, Zach and Amber teach amazing technical fighting skills across multiple disciplines while providing an insane workout that burns out even the ultra elites. But don’t be afraid, I came here in my mid 40s with no experience, asthma and recovering from a major knee injury and they even turned me into a beast, or at least a work in progress. Could not recommend this place more, come join us!

My review of this gym is long overdue, because I have been training here for 2+ years. I’m just terrible at submitting reviews. Anyways, this is hands down the best family fight gym in Utah. Egos are checked at the door, which is SO refreshing in the martial arts world. My whole family trains here and it has (no exaggeration) changed our lives for the better. I personally have lost 30 lbs, my husband has found a hobby he can be passionate about with me and our kiddo has absolutely loved the kids self defense classes that are offered. If you are looking to lose weight, get a strong technical understanding of striking and other self defense principles, AND most importantly have fun while doing that - look no further. I love ACS, thank you Amber and Zach for building what you have built in this gym!

Our family recently started at Atlas and we really like it. Zach and Amber are fantastic and the other coaches are great as well. Everyone is super friendly, they’re super knowledgeable, and I really like their style of coaching. They are awesome with the kids too! We switched our oldest from a karate studio to Atlas after he had been with the studio for 3 years. We just felt like he could use a more rounded approach to martial arts and we found it at Atlas. We tried other places but Atlas was a perfect fit for us. Both our kids and I really like going and learning a new skill. Their prices are affordable for the whole family. If you are looking for a great family oriented place to teach your family martial arts I highly recommend Atlas. Check them out!

I feel like I can relax here. Hard to explain. A lot of other places, I'm worried about people stealing my stuff, my car getting broken into, bad training partners injuring me, etc etc. Here I can just let my guard down, and focus on learning. Extremely underrated. I've also had a much easier time making friends here than I have at any other gym. Not sure why.

Hands down the best gym you could be apart of. Getting into combat sports was something I’ve always wanted to do but was always so intimidated. When I first contacted Atlas they were super welcoming and inviting for a new comer. After my first trial class I was hooked. The coaches are so knowledgeable, friendly, and make each class incredibly fun. I also enrolled my daughter in their Krav program for kids. Coach Zach and Coach Amber have helped my daughter fall in love with Krav. Their kids class is so engaging and fun that my daughter asks almost every day if she can go to class. It’s been amazing to see her confidence grow in all areas and Atlas has played a huge part in that.

My husband started going to Atlas and loved it so much, he encouraged myself and our children to train there as well. We all go now and love it! Zach (owner and coach) remembers something about each member and seems to know just how to speak their language to train them. Amber (owner and coach) has inspired my girls and helped our little one feel comfortable when she was nervous to start. They're fantastic! We love the Muay Thai, Krav, and Jiu-jitsu classes they offer and go as much as possible. We plan on trying the other classes as well. I recommend the gym! It's clean, well maintained, and a safe and professional environment.

My family and I have been going to Atlas Combat sports now for about one year. We love it. The atmosphere is great. The coaches are amazing. It's family owed and great for the kids. My wife does does the Muay Thai and BJJ class. Both my daughters are in Krav and muay Thai. All in all I recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to learn martial arts or if you are just looking for a good workout.

ACS is an absolutely amazing martial arts place, with amazing coaches and amazing peers. You can instantly make friends there and learn to fight phenomenally. I highly suggest for people to go to ACS. Of three martial arts gyms Atlas is by far the best.

I went to a women's self defense seminar and fell in love with this group of martial artists. The gym has such a positive atmosphere. Zack Evans is hands down the best instructor I have ever had. We LOVE Atlas. If you're looking to get your kids or yourself into martial arts, Atlas Combat Sports is the place to do it. They are great for our entire family. They have a wonderfully balanced approach to teaching kids, and helping them learn discipline, focus, and respect in addition to the physical training. Coach Zach and Amber both take time to work on skills with individuals if needed. You won't find better coaches anywhere. Our two older girls have such passion for what they learn that they practice with each other (and even our baby) when they play. I am amazed at how much our girls have learned and what they can do. I would absolutely recommend Atlas.

I signed up about a year and a half ago with this gym because it had great reviews and it was close to my home. I went in for my free class and remember meeting the owner who runs and teaches and he was so down to earth and humble. I remember throughout the class he made sure I felt comfortable and welcome and remembered my name by the end of the class, which to me is a big deal. They create a very friendly and loving environment and not only give great instruction but care for your well being. They make sure you stay safe but are still being competitive. He's trained me around my injuries, and is amazing with kids. I think this is where they shine, you can tell they love working with kids and are amazing coaches who can articulate instructions well for anyone to understand. For sure they are people kids can admire and look up to for a role model.

This is the third martial arts gym my son has gone to, and is by far the best. They have teen classes, which is great because if your child is a teen beginner, they are learning with kids their age and not little ones. Coach Zach is amazing, and such a great role model for my son. We love Atlas and highly recommend it to anyone.

Zack is heads and shoulders the best coach our son has had! Zack’s grappling and striking skills are top shelf and he is an expert at coaching for sport and real world self defense. His wife Amber’s skills are super solid too, and she’s a great support coach and excellent role model. Couldn’t be more pleased with the soft & hard skill sets they both teach in class, and they are amazing with kids. Three generations of my family -from seniors to teens- train at Atlas Combat Sports. Why? Because it’s a family-friendly and fun place to train in PRACTICAL self-defense (no kata, no forms, no fancy moves -just functional self-defense). Their kids programs are absolutely incredible as well. A lot of martial arts gyms treat kids as a “necessary evil” to get the adults to sign up; however, at ACS the kids are treated the same (and follow the same material) as the adults. Whether you want to train for self-defense or for fitness, the ACS coaches are incredibly skilled, extremely patient, and fun (yes, Dad-jokes and Dad-dancing are sprinkled in here and there). The ACS culture is warm and welcoming to students of all skill levels, so whether you’re a beginner or advanced or young or old, you will absolutely love this place. One more reason my family trains here is that ACS is fanatical about cleanliness. The equipment and mats/floors are always disinfected between classes and an ozone generator keeps the air clean and smelling fresh.

I can’t say enough good things about this gym. No matter your experience level, you feel welcome, nobody is intimidating and you get high quality instruction from the coaches because they truly care about their students learning. This place has a great family atmosphere. Whether they are teaching small children, teenagers or adults, the quality of instruction is second to none. The price to train here is very reasonable and well worth it. Zach and Amber have poured their hearts into this gym and it truly shows. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

Zach Evans is an extremely talented, caring, well-rounded coach with a lifetime of experience in diverse martial arts, and teaching them to kids and adults. Raised in a family of martial artists, he basically grew up in a dojo, winning tournaments basically since he could walk. You would be very hard-pressed to find a more knowledgeable coach, in both traditional martial arts and more combat-oriented disciplines. He is an amazing fighter. I trained with him for several years, and have known him since he was a young teenager. I cannot recommend his school more highly. If you want to get in shape, learn mental toughness, discipline, and the fighting skills you need to survive either in a street fight or in a competition, look no further than Atlas.

Excellent gym. Coach Zach does one of the best jobs with instruction for his students. He creates a learning environment that helps his students to become the best at their game. This gym is THE BEST! The owners and coaches are amazing so friendly and helpful I have nothing but great things to say about them. The gym is very clean and maintained. My daughters anxiety has gone down and confidence is sky rocketing since she’s started the teen classes and has learned the tools and exercises to protect her in a scary situation. My son and I trained with Zach for 3 years and there is no place I’d rather train. I’ve even had my wife and daughters go to some of their self-defense classes. Although the training was top notch I fortunately have never had to use any of the techniques I’ve learned. But during the process I was able to shred 40 pounds my first year and get in the best shape of my life.

If I could give TEN stars I would!!! After traveling the world and training at the best facilities we could find, none of them compared to Atlas Combat Sports. The quality of the training, attention to detail, and passion from the coaches goes unmatched. Whether you are someone who wants a good workout or you’re training to be a professional fighter you can get what you want, and need here. Really, it’s amazing. Atlas is focused on upgrading the software without damaging the hard drive. I would travel far a wide to train with Coach’s Zach & Amber. P.s The kids classes are some of the most impressive I have ever seen. Go check them out FOR SURE!

Atlas Combat Sports is a clean, high quality, professional gym. If you want martial arts, come here. If you want strength training, you can come for that. They also offer cardio and fitness classes.

Best gym! Hands down! The owners & instructors are professional & you definitely can feel their passion while in class. They care for what they do & the people that they teach. It’s like a family! You will feel welcome no matter where you’re at in your journey with fitness. Highly recommend this gym for anyone with a passion for self defense or someone who just wants to get into shape.

I love this gym. Zach and Amber are my favorite coaches. It’s clean. Such a good work out and when you leave you feel like you joined a new family. Can’t reccomended this place enough.

My kids have been training for about 4 years. Coach Zach is a great coach and he is very good with kids. My kids love him. The gym is nice and it is very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Zach is an incredibly talented athlete and coach. Many people are talented athletes. Many people can coach. It’s rare to find someone of this caliber in both regards. You won’t find a better place to train!

Best gym in Utah by far! Owners and instructors really care for each and everyone of there students. You can see how passionate all the instructors are in everything they do. If you’re looking to get a good workout in, lose weight, learn multiple types of martial arts or self defense i would highly recommend this gym.

I love this place, over the past 4 years, I have experienced few to no egos, i'm 50 years old, and figured my days of strenuous exercise were done due to injuries, and just aches and pains, somehow coming here I am able to get a great workout and feel better than I have in years, I even signed up my 12 year old son due to the atmosphere and culture, that Zack has created, I couldn't recommend it higher.

I personally have trained under coach Zach and his family off-and-on for roughly 10 years. More importantly, he has taken my 2 teenage boys on as his students and has taught them the art of self defense, discipline and honor. Could not recommend a more complete gym than Atlas.

Atlas is a great combination of self-defense, sport fighting styles, and strength & conditioning classes. I've been impressed with how they seamlessly tie these elements together so that you really feel like you're getting the whole package. There are no egos at the gym and the instructors sincerely care about your growth. Highly recommended!

Atlas is more than a gym teaching you self defense the coach’s become your family. They care about your goals and work with you to make them happen. I love how the whole family can participate in classes and coaches are amazing at teaching at all levels. You can tell from every lesson taught that coaching is a passion. The ability to break down everything step by step enables anyone to learn a technique from my 7 year old to myself. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone young or old.

Best gym with the best coaches. As soon as you walk in you are treated like family. They have helped me to accomplish things I never thought were possible. They are so passionate about what they do and will go above and beyond to help you reach your goals. My whole family trains at the gym and we love it. Joining the gym is the best decision we've ever made!

Me and my kids have been training with Zach for a little over a year now and he continues to impressas the best coach i’ve ever worked with and i’ve been to quite a few. I’ve never had a coach as devoted and care as much about their students as Zach. Also the techniques he teaches really work.

My boys have learned so much more than self defense training at Atlas Combat Sports the past 5+ years. Coach Zach has taught them skills they will carry their whole life both on and off the mat. I took my first martial arts class when I in fifth grade and have tried multiple martial arts over the years . Zach is by far the best martial arts instructor I have ever had , and I will continue to come back here for years to come . Just a few examples are is he is very attentive and helps each individual to make sure they are maximizing their potential , also he is extremely knowledgeable.
