Mr. AJ is the best if not, one of the best instructors/coaches in jiu-jitsu. He teaches his students how to be excel in the sport, how to be disciplined, and how to stay motivated. In addition, he teaches his students to be respectful to their opponents and those in a position of authority. If you want to learn self defense or want your kids to learn it, this is the best school to do it in. Give it a shot; you will not regret it!

This Jiu-Jitsu school is fantastic. Professor Aj is one of the best instructors in the area. The family-operated nature of the school really shines through, from Jessica at the front desk to Professor Aj's father, who is also a black belt. My family and I will definitely continue training here.
Expectations have been beyond exceeded. From the get go, Coach AJ and all the older team members have been patient and caring with my son. We have trusted the school so much and our son has loved it so much we had our 5yo do summer camp and aftercare all in less than a year of joining! Our family couldn’t ask for more from such a caring duo in coach and Jessie. Definitely recommend for anyone with an energetic child and looking for an amazing martial arts school.
My only regret is that I didn't find this place sooner. My son is 9 years old and has been training Jiu Jitsu for 3 years. He was at another school for over 2.5 years and in the 5 months he's been here his skill level has increased leaps and bounds. The focus at this school is quality over quantity and it shows in everything they do. The camps here are the best as they are always doing something interesting and fun. I can not say enough good things about this school. Excited for my sons training future.
I've been training under Coach AJ for almost 8 years, and I couldn't ask for a better coach. The gym has a supportive and friendly atmosphere, and I've made many, if not most, of my close friends here. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for jiu jitsu, AJ, and the team.
I have been going to this jiu jitsu for a couple of months, and i have grown a lot in my technique, endurance, strength, and in strategy.(keep in my mind I have experience of abt 8 years in jiu jitsu) They have a super friendly and welcoming atmosphere that practically makes it imposible to not want to come back. Would recommend for all ages and all levels of technique.
This is the best gym I have ever gone to it has everything Jiu Jitsu kick boxing wrestling and more mg hole family is in Atlantis. I recommend coming to this place it is truly amazing
Atlantis is a fantastic environment for kids of all ages to learn martial arts, build friendships, and overall have fun! With a variety of services to choose from, no child will ever be bored! An aftercare program that picks up kids from school so they can do their homework, and learn Jiu jitsu! Also, a summer camp program that keeps children from being stuck at home with nothing but a controller! Atlantis is a top tier place where competitive spirits rise, along with discipline and friendship. But in the end, the goal for Atlantis Jiu jitsu is to get out hands raised in spectacular fashion!

This place is super fun and easy going. The classes are very useful in helping foster and develop your skills in jiujitsu. They also offer incredible after school care that keeps kids entertained and engaged in learning jiujitsu.
I’m a student whose been going for about a couple months now and in my opinion it’s by far one of the best jiu jitsu schools in Miami period. Whatever it lacks in size it makes up for it in quality and efficiency in your training , by far one of the best decisions I’ve made and look forward to grow with them.

Atlantis is more than a jujitsu academy. Kids feel like family and are care for as such. Mr. AJ and his wife run the place with passion, love, and commitment to their students. Kids of all ages come together not only to practice martial arts but also to learn life skills that forge their character, build resiliency, motivate them to be better human beings, and instill respect, a sense of purpose, and a desire to build a better community. I am proud of what my son has accomplished there, of how his self esteem has improved, and of how he looks up to the role models he has found in Mr. AJ and other older teammates. Finding a place where tweens and teens can grow and be themselves in a safe environment is priceless in today’s society.

I've been training with AJ's adults kickboxing class for several years. Not only is it a great workout but the environment is fun and inviting. It incorporates traditional HIIT exercises with kickboxing techniques that gives you a total body workout. Would totally recommend to anyone, including beginners. There's room for all ages and fitness levels :)

Super amazing environment for all ages. I have been with coach AJ for a while, and his knowledge in jiu-jitsu is second to none and he works extremely well with kids I took my son for his first class and he was super nervous, with tears on his face hiding behind me, he told me he wasn't going to participate. with in a few seconds of meeting Coach AJ, he was on the mats laughing and working technique! I can't recommend enough!!!

What a treat meeting the group in this dojo I meet with a buddy of mine AJ that works there and he’s the best! I really enjoyed the trainings exercises and one-on- one programs they got going on for the youth and even for me ! They have amazing jujitsu and wrestling programs.
