My family has been receiving kung fu lessons here for many years. I love how kind and patient they are with children. My kids have learned so much!
We started our 9 year old daughter in March after here repeated failed attempts to get her involved in sports to help her with confidence and socialization. From day one she felt comfortable with the owner and staff as they gave her their attention, encouragement, and kindness even though she knew nothing about Karate. She’s made some friends, earned stripes, and she’s excited to go and takes it seriously. I highly recommend AMA if your child needs to breakaway from tech, grow social skills, confidence, and sweat.
If I could combine quality,good staff members, and overall satisfaction I would. This place overall satisfied me and made me continue to work. I've trained here for three years, and I never had a horrible experince or even a bad one. Love this place and will always be in my ♥.
Love this place! My 6 year old has been attending for about 6 months. This is such a great environment, I also joined at 46 years old and started my journey.
This is a top-notch school for adults and kids alike. It is a great place for beginners up to seasoned martial artists to learn and improve upon their skills. I've been going for years, along with my children, the youngest of which started at 5 years old. I'd best describe the style taught here as a combination of karate with kung fu as well as a little Jiu-Jitsu. There is a definite focus on the self defense aspect instead of sport karate. John, the owner and head instructor, has been doing and teaching martial arts most of his life. He was an international competitor before retiring, having won many competitions and training with many other iconic martial artists. He is an excellent teacher, and knows his art very well. After training under him for some time, I've often witnessed a change in behavior, confidence, and attitude in kids and adults. We are lucky to have such a school in our area. I highly recommend giving this place a try for yourself and/or your kids.
