Fantastic group, excellent instructors!! No matter what your training level is, there's something there for everyone.
I always made excuses for not starting to train, especially getting close to 50. But I'm glad I did; although I'm extremely out of shape, I get better each day. Everyone is helpful and encouraging. This is the place to go if you're looking for a BJJ gym. I'm looking forward to learning more each time I go. It's never too late.
I’ve been training here for about 3 years now and the coaches and environment here have completely changed my life for the better. I went from hating Jiu Jitsu and not wanting to go once a week, to going multiple times a week and helping coach the kids classes. I can’t recommend trying out Ares Peoria enough.

Joined in December, the coaches are amazing. Wish I had more time to go more often but they definitely help in every aspect of your game. Recommend for everyone and anyone learning something new!
Incredible Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym. Great environment filled with helpful people. The level of instruction is World class. The kids program is awesome. Can’t recommend this BJJ Academy enough.

Really great place to train Jiu Jitsu and stay in shape. I am old, over weight and spending an hour four times a week training and it is really helping with my cardio, flexibility, strength, stamina and weight loss. I am new to Jiu Jitsu and everyone at the academy is supper friendly, from the students to the professors, and they all really want you to succeed. The professors are great with demonstrating moves and submissions and then there is about 30 minutes of rolling (sparring or drilling) which is amazing cardio. At this point, I am lucky if I can do 5 minutes of rolling but I am told, 'keep coming back and it gets easier'. I am off to class, hope to see you there.
These are some of the most friendly humans on earth. We just moved to the area and found Allied online. They have been nothing short of awesome.

Coach Thomas is awesome and its great seeing the team of people there to show the kiddos how, to grow into this awesome process of self control and talent. My son has been with Coach Thomas since 3 yrs of age in gym classes in former daycares and now Jim Jitsu at his own, beautiful location. Very thankful to have this great option for our kiddo!

Instructors are awesome and know what they're doing. The owner of Allied is super friendly and interacts with all the kids to help them with what they need to work on. Definitely recommending.

My son has been going to this gym for months now end it is done wonders for his confidence and his physical fitness. Everyone there is awesome and it’s really like a family. They’ve been great with my son great with me and we really feel like it’s family there I couldn’t recommend this place more.
This has been an amazing experience for our son. He has trained since he was 3 years old and after leaving his gym in CA when we moved we found ourselves at another gym who only seemed to care about tournaments and didnt really even care to get to know the individusl kids. After begging to leave his last gym we found Allied and he can't wait to train now. He is excited about his training and even wants to do tournaments because he loves jiu jitsu and his instructors. Thank you Allied Jim Jitsu!
Great place to roll jiu-jitsu! Positive vibes, spirits, no egos, and full of dedicated grapplers willing to share the secrets of their craft. This is a safe, clean place to roll. I recommend Allied without any reservations.

These guys (folks) really know their stuff! They don't throw you around and beat you up, they teach you step by step moves and the 'whys' behind them. Highly-qualified and I highly recommend them.
