We love ATA McMurray! The staff is always friendly and if you get a chance to take your kids to one of their parent's night out events, do it! They just had a Halloween themed one. They had a pizza party, painted pumpkins and got to play in the gym section of the building. The kids had an absolute blast!

ATA McMurry is the absolute BEST! My son has made so many great friends, his confidence has grown, and he found something he loves. The new facility is beautiful, instructors are amazing, and there are so many classes for the kids or adults to try (sparring, weapons, XMA, tricks, etc.). I would recommend it to everyone 🙂

ATA McMurray has fantastic programs for all ages. There's something here for everyone! I first joined in 2020 during the pandemic looking for something to get out of the house, now I can't picture my life with out it.

In short… this is the ONLY academy I would want to send my son! 😍 From the first day we walked into ATA we have felt like family. They are professional, reasonably priced, and have a program for everyone. They have taken my son from a shy and scared individual to a strong, dedicated leader who loves helping others! They have an amazing staff full of certified instructors with decades of experience. They teach the best classes, full of life development skills to all ages, leadership skills, board breaking, self defenses, sparring, stick fighting, drills, and so much more. All of this is through Taekwondo, Xtreme Martial Arts, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! If your child wants to compete, they do that too! From local tournaments all the way to National, International, and World Championships! My son has loved competing so much that he recently won his first State Champion title. ✅ Beyond that, my son has grown into a young man that every mother would want their son to be. If you made it this far, you should take the leap and sign up for a 4 week intro with ATA!! You won’t regret it! 💯🎉
My daughter started as a tiny tiger (4-7 years old) here and now has her black belt after 3 years and still absolutely loves every class. The instructors are extremely helpful, even with students who take a while to warm up and are on the shyer side. My daughter has really grown with the program and is so excited for every class, she has really bonded with the staff and is continually improving. It has made a huge difference in her life and she is more outgoing because of them. They deserve the highest praise, they're wonderful.
Absolutely amazing studio! A huge thank you to Master Stadtfeld for continuing to provide an amazing experience since day 1 for helping me provide a fun, exciting experience!! My 2 daughters are both in the Tiny Tigers program and have learned so many things! The self-restraint, the change in attitude, a different understanding of what dangerous can be, And they have learned how to work with others to improve themselves. None of it would have been possible without all of the instructors at the studio. Each instructor has a different but amazing approach with the kids and they take time to get to know them to understand how they are and what level of assistance they might need as they are going through the classes. My oldest has joined the weapons program and has learned an entirely different world than what she thought existed with karate. My youngest is just starting to get the hang of it but she absolutely loves going with her sister and getting to make it through class successfully so that she can play a fun game right at the end of session. As a parent, I love hearing my girls ask me "how long until we leave for karate" because it's something they look Forward to constantly! The additional offers and programs offered give the kids something new to experience, instill new life lessons and goals for each student, and allow them to grow into their own style in performance. As a parent, I love seeing them learn something new and love doing it too! I can't wait to see where they help my girls go next in this journey they have chosen. And I can't wait to see how their friends and then continue to build their friendships, continue to learn how to help each other, and continue to teach me as a parent!
We love it here at ATA! The staff works hard to make sure everyone is learning the material. Incredibly fun Tiger’s classes, awesome Karate Kids classes, and excellent Teens & Adult classes.

I have 3 children which attend this academy. The family and all the staff are amazing! They are very attentive to everyone individually and as a group. We have been attending for around 6 years and my children have excelled under their direction. They are more than just an academy, they genuinely care and and enjoy working with the students. They make it fun to learn and succeed. I highly recommend them to anyone considering.

I had my son's birthday party here and it could not have been better! The kids were engaged and entertained the entire 2 1/2 hours. ATA made it so easy for me. All I had to provide was the cake, and they took care of everything else!

He and his instructors have changed many lives with their positive, encouraging approach to teaching/coaching. Cameron’s expertise as a fifth degree black belt creates an environment of fun, discipline, success, respect, and discipline. Painfully I remember the board breaking challenge. The first try, the board remained intact. With my heart pounding, Cameron quietly whispered some advice to my grandson, reset the board, and on his second try, it broke!! Using his compassion, intuition, and goal of excellence, Cameron coached my grandson to earning his black belt. Although a move to a new house prohibited my grandson from finishing his last weeks at McMurray ATA, Cameron attended his ceremony at another facility. When he walked in the door, heart-felt gratitude and smiles showed the connection that Cameron creates with his students and families. Cameron plus the black belt ceremony, a life changing event. Cameron takes pride in the students succeeding and understands the unique learning styles of each student. Outside of ATA Cameron wrote a letter of support for my grandson’s Eagle Scout award, eloquently connecting the values of martial arts and scouting. He and his team continue to evolve and become a powerful force in our community. ATA McMurray is the best. My children have been attending ATA Mcmurray for about four years. They started from white belt and are now 1st degree black belts, which couldn’t have been done without the dedication and encouragement of all the staff, which consists of incredibly talented, kind, professional, and dedicated individuals who I am so pleased are role models for my kids. They somehow find the time to communicate whenever you need them and put in that “extra” time. Students’ success is their success - it’s what they’re about! This is clear when you see not only the skill obtained by ATA McMurray’s students, but their sense of comradery. and respect they show others, as well. My family and I truly love everything about ATA McMurray and can say without hesitation that they are exceptional in all ways. It’s rare to find a business of any kind that cares so much about the people it serves and the quality of service it provides. The owner is always finding ways to improve and grow while heeding feedback and the best interest of our local community. I have to add that the way he (and staff) handled the craziness of Covid was exemplary, as well. Master Stadtfeld and his instructors here do an outstanding job with their students. Before my son began classes here, he was a shy 4-year-old. After 6 months of being in the Tiny Tigers program, I could see the beneficial changes in his personality. He looks forward to these classes which help develop his confidence, focus, and physical abilities. The instructors are great role models and promote a fun, safe and encouraging environment for the kids to learn and stay active. I like that they know how to connect with the kids and reinforce common values associated with most martial arts programs. And the best part is that everyone here makes you feel like you are part of one big family.
I cannot say enough about this academy! My daughter transferred over from the Bridgeville academy and absolutely loves ATA McMurray. She has grown so much and is welcomed by each and every student and staff members. Master Stadtfeld has gone above and beyond to help us and our daughter in every way possible! The quality of training is beyond anything we could have imagined. They have everything from traditional martial arts to tactical self defense training, and weapons training to gymnastics and fight choreography...everything a child or adult could want. Our boys have been going to the academy for a few years. They love it and have grown in many ways from their participation in Taekwondo. The instructors have provided a fun and encouraging environment for them to learn and challenge themselves even when something may be difficult. As parents, we hoped mostly that the values of courtesy and respect would be reinforced and become a prominent part of their characters. Requiring students to “answer up” with “yes sir” or “yes ma’am” has definitely become second nature to them. They use these manners when interacting with other teachers and people in the community. We are really glad we made the investment to send our children to ATA McMurray.
Great family run business. We had a few miscommunications about the biking cycle and fees, but Cameron was very understanding and helpful and worked with us to let us transfer the membership to our other child. Very well run, great teachers and staff
My son took lessons there for 4 years, receiving his 2nd degree black belt. He also passed his junior instructor training thanks to the dedication of the staff. The entire staff is very encouraging at all age levels. They made the classes fun while still learning their belt requirements. I also like to see the kids helping each other and giving each other encouragement. Staff wants each and every person there to succeed. My son made good friends during his time there. I know he misses it maybe he'll be able to get back into it after college.
Both my kids do martial arts here! My son has been doing it for 5 years and he absolutely loves it. My daughter just recently joined and she couldn’t be happier! It has reinforced the discipline we give them at home and as a parent, I’m happy!
I personally have been with ATA McMurray for eleven years. I love the people, the art, and the discipline that comes with this sport. I am now on staff as an instructor and I love every second I get to spend with my students and teaching them. ATA has taught me to become the woman I am today. The students, staff, and parents are all incredible. When I was a student I have to say I had all the help I needed. I am pleased to say that ATA has become my family and I couldn’t imagine myself leaving anytime soon. I love my job along with my students and my fellow staff, thank you for the great experience guys!
Greetings, Having been in and out of Martial Arts almost my whole life I can make an informed statement here. That being, " If your reading this that tells me your questioning whether or not you want to do Karate and also if this is the right place for you. The easiest thing to do is sign up and you wont have to wrestle with the question any more. With a 4 week introductory offer? Why wouldn't you is a better question. Why do I say this? After a 12 yr break I signed up, and outside of the fact that in 3yrs I lost over 40lbs, my technics speed and power are refined and improving at a significant rate, and my Belt rank is the highest I have ever received, I have found that the Instructors that work with you care, they get the answers you need and work with each individual based on their abilities and commitment to improve. As with anything you get out what you put into it. So if you want to commit to higher standards, the Owner/ Master Cameron Stadtfeld is a person of excellence and has the knowledge, skill, certifications and instructors that will lead you in your journey. CALL NOW!!

I can’t say enough good things about ATA McMurray. Cameron (owner) and the entire staff are amazing. The pace of learning is excellent & tailored for each individual. My son (Thomas) has been here for 8 years & he has loved every minute of it. They have become part of our ‘extended family’!!

Wonderful instructors, family friendly and confidence building programs
This place is fine but the go over WAY to much sometimes and it can get annoying very quickly. Overall all the instructors and kids are nice but you can tell that they have there favorites and some of the instructors will focus majority of their time on the favorites. Cameron (the owner) is extremely nice, Puja and Julia are literally the best, and Joey and Thomas can be your best friends once you get to know him. I’ve been going here for 7 years and I will recommend this place to lots of people, BUT this place does really have its flaws.
