One of our kids can find some environments a bit challenging, but they've always felt comfortable here and we've never had any issues. The coaches have created a really positive, supportive environment where they feel safe.

Such a great safe space for my son. He has been coming since February 2026. The growth I have seen has been so positive, his confidence has improved so much not only here but in school - which is something he lacked. Excited to see him continue this growth 💙

It’s so welcoming and I got to learn a lot of stuff at ares mma and the more your here, the longer you would want to stay. I also mentioned this gym to a friend and just one day coming he said he loved it and after the 7 day free trial he’s definitely paying.

We’ve been to other places with our kids and we love how supportive and encouraging the coaching team are here! Our daughter has a lot of empathy and often at the expense of herself. She’s learning self confidence that’s teaching her to back herself while still respecting who she is and considering others. That’s invaluable to us. And it can only happen in an empowering and respectful environment which is what we’ve found at Ares MMA. They take the time to teach proper technique and ensure the wins are celebrated. Our daughter and the other kids are busy having fun and parents have peace of mind knowing health fitness and fun are prioritised! Thanks coach Jamie and Robbie.

Five Stars – Highly Recommended! My child has been training at Arise MMA for a little while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From day one, we felt welcomed into such a positive and encouraging environment. You might expect a martial arts gym to be full of tough brutes, but Arise MMA is quite the opposite – it’s hands down one of the friendliest places we’ve ever walked into. Coach Jamie is absolutely fantastic with the kids. His attention to detail is impressive, and he takes the time to work with each child individually to help them improve—not just physically, but in confidence and focus too. He clearly has a passion for what he does, and it shows in how well the kids respond to him. The new venue is amazing – it’s spacious, modern, and there’s plenty of mat space for all the different age groups and classes. You can tell a lot of care has gone into setting it up just right. I can’t recommend Arise MMA enough. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to build on existing skills, this is the place to be!

Ares MMA is a great gym for kids and adults. Our kids loved the kids classes on Mon, Wed and Friday and they enjoy what they get taught. One of the good gyms that teaches about not only self defense but also the kids to be away of “stranger danger”. I would highly recommend to bring your kids and even yourself to the gym and try it out. The trainer Jamie has extensive experience with both BJJ and Thai box.
