I have been training under Steve for over 11 years. Steve is a high level, credible Black Belt with decades of experience and training. No-nonse training and a family type environment. No EGOs on the mat. Just a bunch of good dudes that wanna train hard and get after it. Recommend BJJ for ALL Cops and military.

I was in the area for a short time and stopped in for a couple classes. The gym was very clean and Professor Steven Oliver and the rest of the gym welcomed me like I was part of their family. They have great instruction and it was a great environment to train in. If you happen to be near the area, stop in! You won’t regret it! Thank you Professor and the rest of the gym!

Endless blessings to Professor Olivier & his beautiful Apocalypse Jiu Jitsu family. I been training bjj for 5 months & stopped by the open mat today & met a team of dedicated, knowledgeable, & kind bjj practitioners; super welcoming & amazing to roll with. If you’re in New Windsor or in the vicinity it would benefit you & your practice to stop by the dojo & train with this team. Thank you again Professor Olivier & Professor Marrero. seen you again soon. Namaste.

I have trained under Steve for a decade plus, I’ve won a number of matches and tournaments under his tutelage. The wins are great, but the most important aspect of being with apocalypse, is the community that’s in the gym. It’s an incredible family atmosphere, a great learning environment, and and a great way to develop practical self defense skills! If your thinking of visiting, come and try a clsss with us!

I started through a free class 5 months ago. I didn't know what jui jitsu was. but thanks to the teacher and the students who make you feel super confident and at the same time motivate you because this sport is physical and strong.

The best place to train in New Windsor and in the Hudson Valley. Steve and his team are super technical with the Art of Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and wrestling. What they teach here can not only apply to the sport but also to real world self-defense. The school offers a lot of flexibility with its hours so you can fit training regularly into your schedule! The school in has a welcoming atmosphere. I've been coming regularly for three years!
