I recently enrolled at AMA exactly 1 year ago, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, making sure to give each student personalized attention. The classes are well-structured, I appreciate how they emphasize not just physical fitness, but also discipline, respect, and self-confidence. Overall, the school is just filled with positivity and you will instantly feel welcomed. AMA offers something for everyone. Highly recommend!
Love ama my son has learn so much. He loves going to karate it's his favorite thing to do. He has an amazing teacher sensei Daniel. Sensei Daniel encourages my son that he can do anything.
Amazing place my daughter love being apart of the AMA family.. She was hooked from day one and doesn’t want to stop. Sensei Daniel is wonderful and is great with the kids. All the fun things outside of learning lessons are great family fun as well…potlucks, ninja nights , movie nights and so much more. I’m so glad that we found this place.
My son started with a free week coupon and we've been here for almost a year now. Sensei Daniel has made a tremendous impact on my son and is a phenomenal mentor/teacher. Absolutely recommend this dojo! We also have awesome new Senseis-in-training, Sensei Zach and Sensei Carrie. Both also mentor my son and he always loves sparring them! The Liberty AMA family is the best to be a part of in the Northland!

Update - I've been going to Liberty AMA, 4 times a week, for almost 7 months now. I am not one to use hyperbole, but this had been life changing. Sensei Daniel - one of the most sincere, caring people I know. He wants you to well in your martial arts journey and your life journey. He's very supportive but also demanding that you push yourself to your OWN 100%. He CARES about ALL his students. Classmates - my Mon/Wed classmates range from 15 to 60 (me) and every one of them is supportive of each other. "Family" is an often overused term but close to appropriate at AMA. Kempo - the teachings of the techniques are on point. Sensei Daniel demonstrates all movement with clockwork precision and has an incredible way to break down each movement to be digested by even the oldest newbie (me). More than Martial Arts - I joined thinking I would learn movement, strikes, blocks, and it is all that but much more. It's a sweat soaking workout. Calisthenics, strength conditioning, flexibility, aerobic level drills. I have seen a northward migration of stomach flab to arm, shoulder, and chess muscle. Shirts once tight in the belly are now tight in the chest / shoulders. Self discipline / Self accountability - Throughout all of Sensei Daniel's classes are an underlying, but clear as day theme of self discipline and self accountability. You are responsible for your own goals, successes, happiness, and choices. I would highly recommend Liberty AMA / Sensei Daniel to ANYONE (young or old) looking to expand or start their fitness, martial arts, and/or self discovery journey.

This place is awesome. I'm 35 years old and joined the dojo almost 6 months ago. It has been great. I have got in much better shape, become more flexible, and formed a passion for the martial arts. I advise anyone that's at all interested to go try a free intro class.
Sensei Matt is a caring and compassionate teacher of martial arts. My 7-year-old daughter looks forward to coming to every class! He connects with each student in a way where it's fun to learn new skills. I couldn't be happier that we found this place and with watching her become more confident in self-defense.
The sensei is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent leader. Whether your taking these classes for yourself, your your kids, he demonstrates excellence and sincerity.

We have just started classes for our 8 year old son and he is loving it! I think this will be great for him working on his focusing skills and i am really excited to see how this benefits him in school.
My Grandson loves learning Karate and having fun at USSD in Liberty. He is 6 years old and just earned his Orange Belt. He has a great time learning new punches and kicks while getting stronger both physically and mentally.
One of the best experiences we have put our son through. Highly recommended.
