5 STARS!!!!!! Visited Apex MMA Windsor and immediately encountered Jake Girard. 😭💀 Within 3.7 seconds, I was allegedly subjected to approximately 47 cartoon-style swirlies, 83 nuclear-grade nipple twisters, and emotional damage equivalent to falling off Rainbow Road on the final lap. 🚽🌪️🎮 Bro’s muscles are so big they have their own postal code. 💪📦💪 His jawline looks like it was forged by ancient blacksmiths and blessed by the graphics card gods. 🗿✨ Me walking into the gym: 😎 Me after seeing Jake exist: 🤡📉 Jake: stands there My confidence: 📉 📉 📉 💀 POV: You make eye contact for 0.2 seconds 👀 Windows has stopped responding. 🖥️⚠️ The facility was great, but somebody seriously needs to nerf this man’s stats in the next update. 🎮😂 Final verdict: Gym: 10/10 ⭐ Jake Girard: 0/10 🗿😭 #MMA #GymLife
Came to train, left with trust issues. Everything was going fine until Jake Girard apparently decided this was a 2000s middle school movie. Next thing I know I’m getting sent to the bathroom for “important gym business” and somehow ended up receiving an absolutely disrespectful amount of swirlies. Before I could recover, I was hit with an atomic wedgie that tested both my flexibility and my dignity. Training itself? Fine. My emotional recovery? Ongoing. Someone needs to teach this Jake guy some respect. He kept referring to me as punk face and saying how he will kick my behind. Would return… but only with bathroom security and reinforced shorts. Good coach though.
My son has been training here for three years, and it’s been an amazing experience. This gym is a fantastic place to learn MMA, and he is currently focusing mainly on BJJ for competitions. The coaches are incredible—always supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping the kids achieve their goals. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great training environment.
My fiancé and I have been here for a year, we attend 4-7 classes a week and absolutely love it. The classes, community and coaching is incredible. Joining this gym was one of the best decisions we have made. The environment is clean and welcoming to new members.
Excellent! extremely clean gym! Very well structured jiu-jitsu classes by age and ability level. The coaches are top tier! The new owner has completely leveled this gym up in every aspect!
